Incredible food for a train station kiosk - would go so far to say it beats at least half of the seated cantonese restaurants around Syd. A regular choice for delicious but lazy dinner at our house.
Great BBQ choices, hot bar choices (xo beans, sweet and sour pork, salt & pepper pork ribs and tofu fish casserole are my recommendations!) and generous portions.
The roast pork was damn delicious. I will be going back here again for the pork!! It was so good with an extra chilli oil for +0.50cents. We decided to take home their 3 choice combo and tasted yum. Worthwhile a visit as a go to lunch/dinner 🙂
There is a reason this store has been able to stand the test of time within Hurstville train station, and the reason is their fantastic BBQ. Service is typical, and easily looked over due to the immensely great food and portions.
Often pass by this shop whenever we take the train and there is always a queue. Service is fast and price is not bad either. What I usually order is the salt and pepper spare ribs and some other viand with a bit of sauce to complement the dry viand. Serving size is a bit small but taste is really good. For the price of $10 you are guaranteed with a hearty meal. Maybe next time I should also try their roast pork.
I love this place! Food is great, especially the roast duck and rice. Would definately recommend this place as prices are reasonable. Would be good if they did delivery.
The BBQ, especially the duck and roast pork, here is delicious! I come here almost every week because it is always nice and fresh. There is also a really good selection of other dishes, definitely recommend the salt and pepper pork and beans!
On top of this the staff is also very friendly and generous with their portions! 😁😁
If you are looking at some decent takeaway food at a great price this is the place.
Duck is amazing best in hurstville, the pork is great as well crispy skin and charzil. The chicken is also perfectly cooked. I go here for my duck, chicken or pork. Nice

Haha, I do not mean to frighten any one at all with a close up shot of well marinated chicken feet, prepared ala Cantonese style. Most of the Australian population would associate this with a yumcha offering on a trolley at lunch time, although they are often now covered up under bamboo basket covers. Well I did get my bright looking and savoury cooked chicken feet as in a snack box for take away. Ah, the delights of the food court after you get out of your railway platforms from the train. The place is often lively, even after working hours and on weekends, as a kind of Asian diaspora gather for no cooking time and so much choice in East Asian culinary - often with their Aussie mates and partners. Hurstville, I am told, has the highest concentration of people with a China background for suburbs in Australia. Back to my chicken feet - it lived up to my expectations. Preparation is a three step journey, first they are marinated after clipping the claws. (ahem....) The second stage is to deep fry the feet, plain. If one likes a puffed up look of the feet when served, after deep frying, immediately place them in a bowl of ice cubes.Shaoxing wine, Char siew sauce and star anise are used to flavour, massage and marinade the feet, for at least over night. The thus prepared feet are then stir fried with shallots, black bean sauce, abalone sauce, garlic cloves and chillies. Season with pepper and sugar at your own discretion.The chicken feet from Hong Kong Delight are not rubbery. They exude yummy flavour, good texture and are not over powering. If one cannot go for chicken feet, the same recipe can be used for chicken fillets or pork cubes. It brought me back to what retro Hong Kong food tasted like.
The BBQ here is amazing! The duck is the best I have had in Sydney, and I know now why the the crispy pork sells out everyday. Heard a customer next to me raving about the BBQ too and I feel the same! Definitely must try!!!
I was surprised to see all the negative feedbacks here since i found the food fairly tasty and price is rather reasonable. Maybe we will try again to see the stability of quality😊
This is my absolute favourite takeaway shop. The food is always both delicious and beautifully presented, especially the roast duck, BBQ pork, roast pork and salt and pepper pork. The portion sizes are large as well.
Servers are polite and always ready to help. The shop is extremely clean.
Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Hurstville.

Located conveniently next to platforms to Hurstville station, this place is great for commuters to stop on the way home to buy something for dinner.
We tried the roast duck here for the first time today and this place is just as good as the other famous roast duck shop in nearby Campsie.
The meat was very tender, not too fatty and the flavour is just right (compared to some other Chinese duck places where they use too much Five Spice in the marinade).
This place is certainly a delight and lives up to their name.
I love this place 😍 The roast pork & BBQ are super tender and succulent!
