We are on holiday from Northern Ireland and were passing through and stopped here for breakfast and glad we did.
Very nice place, ambience was lovely and the food topped it all off.
Highly recommend and staff very helpful.
Top marks.
We accidentally ended up here for lunch and are glad we did.
It’s a charming deli with home cooked food and lots of veggie options on the menu too.
Just enjoying the most scrumptious Buddha bowl I have had in a while.
Hands down, best lunch we had in our Brisbane stay so far.
We will be back!
Located in the Tamborine Mountain town, Spice of Life is a cute little cafe which offered breakfast and light lunch and local produce. We ordered beef hamburger and mexican chilli beef. They were all good, well seasoned. I liked the vibe there, with cute little decoration. Staff was friendly and fast. The menu was a bit small and limited in choices. All in all, it ticked the boxes for a quick lunch while we’re on a road trip.
Good sized portions in a retro style cafe setting. It's a locals cafe that visitors might stumble over. Nothing flash solid menu selection. Their turmeric latte is very good
A lovely deli and cafe on the Main Street of North Tamborine. Plenty of seating indoors and out, but you have to go up to the counter to order. I only just snuck in and ordered before midday when the more extensive breakfast menu ends- recommend getting there before 12 so you have the choice of both menus! The service was very efficient, and I soon had my Healthy green smoothie (wish it wasn't in a disposable plastic cup though) and yummy Kumura fritters with halloumi- very tasty.
The cafe is very inviting and seems popular with the locals. As a cafe and deli it has extra offerings such as food/recipe books for sale as well as kitchenware and take away salads and pies etc. A good range of gluten free options are present on the menu. Tried the espresso coffee which was smooth with hazelnut and citrus overtones matched with a flavoursome gluten free melting moment. Worth a stop for other options with pies, salads, rolls and salads. Visiting in winter, a popular breakfast item would be the Porridge (with apple and cinnamon) as I didn't see this on any other breakfast menus throughout the area.
Wow looking for a spot out of the heat with options for something light. What a good choice. Service friendly and food delicious, very flavoursome and just what was needed. A pity mangoes were tinned but still yummy
Lovely spot, delicious freshly made goats cheese filo tart served with fresh salad and a smile.
Good vibe. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Busy but not packed on a weekday morning, and although it doesn't have the spectacular views of some Tamborine eating places it's got a nice feel to the place and the tables are tucked into corners so you don't feel as if you are on display. I had the coconut pancakes which were only average-they desperately needed something a little bit tart or sour to cut through the sickly sweet taste of the mango and syrup-and my cappuccino was weak without proper froth on it, but there were enough tempting things on the menu that I would definitely go here again. The service was good, nothing was too much trouble.
Not a local but have now been here 3 times.. Food and service is great and its just a really nice cafe!!! Comfy cafe... I have no idea what this toilet charge is. Maybe some teenagers were having a go? :) They DO security lock their toilet doors but the code is inside on the bench in plain sight, so only customers of the cafe use the toilets.
Awesome cuppas and really nice people.
