A brilliant little find. I was almost not going to go cause of the mixed reviews. Authentic Japanese with quality serving size. Good and quick service. Cold beer and wine after swimming was definitely welcome. As I saw most reviews were those who did not eat here, they missed out on a brilliant meal. I met David and found him friendly and yes he still works here🤣🤣. Peak periods expect long waiting periods or be disappointed, which is normal for any resort.

Recommend go early instead of busy hours. We went there three times. Black pepper beef was very tender, highly recommended!😋 Very delicious food!👍

This is a solid 5 star rating purely because expectations were perfectly met. Despite what other reviewers are saying where they expected more from an island restaurant, I expect the exact opposite on an island: Mediocrity at an expensive price; and that is exactly what fire and stone delivered (and would even give an extra half star if I could for the large serving size)! Anyone who thinks a resort-run restaurant on and island is going to be serving Michelin quality meals needs a crash course in supply/demand economics.

We had dinner at the Vietnamese side , the dishes were good , flavour and portions good too. Brisket noodles and beef with oyster sauce done good. Nothing to complaint after a full beach day.

Only the Stone side ( Japanese ) was open and we had a fantastic meal there.
We had the starter combo and Salmon Lava. Both were delicious.
Staff were great and meals arrived very quickly.
Would be keen to try the Fire side of the restaurant if we get a chance.
