Prig Thai, now in Victoria Street, had an offer in the Thursday paper for $8.50 lunches, so we decided to pop down.
The lady was pleasant and prepared our meal in no more than five minutes. The portions were a decent size and very tasty.
The venue itself was very basic but also very clean. Being on a day that topped 39°, it could have been cooler in the restaurant, with just one pedestal fan.
While you can eat in, I think it would be the ideal place for quality take-away.
Myself and two friends needed a bite to eat after stupidly skipping lunch on a road trip. All I can say is it was so lovely.
For street value it's not very flash looking, but the lady cooked up a mean green curry, pad see ew, and satay rice and chicken. Amazing taste, very affordably priced, and she cooked it from scratch and had it hot and fresh in front of us within ten minutes.
If you're stopping through Taree I highly recommend dining here.
Fantastic! Fabulous fresh thai food, not too greasy, as spicy or mild as you like. Fresh chilli, fresh garlic, (not dehydrated or powdered like many of the other Asian restaurants in Taree!). Very reasonably priced, fast, friendly.
I loved this place and went back twice in the 36 hours i was in town.
Absolutely recommended.
