After seeing all the reviews I wasn’t expecting much but I have to say our meals were good. For entree we got the Turkish bread with dips, rump skewers and chicken wings. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken wings but the dips bread and the rump steak were great. More bread would have been nice.
For mains We got the lamb gyros, mixed grill and the kids chicken nuggets.
The chips weren’t very nice but the meats were cooked well and they had a fabulous taste.
The lamb gyros melted in my mouth a little flavour to the salad would have been nice.
Food wise it was just the chips that didn’t taste great they were over cooked and dry and tasted like they sat there for a while.
The playground left little to be desired not somewhere my kid wants to go again compared to other playgrounds at other places.

My surprise 40th birthday party was held in the Aurora Room at Hotel 520 on Saturday night. The bar staff, waitresses and Julie went above and beyond with their service. The room looked great, the food was delicious and the event went off without a hitch. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to hold a party or an event at Hotel 520.
