Most definitely will be bringing the family to this place. I must try the Greco Table Banquet 😊😊😊
Contrary to all of the bad reviews, I quite enjoy the food, it is authentic and delicious. Love, love, love it and cannot wait to return again. The kids loved it too.
Pretty good Greek, this side of the city. We got the meat platter for two with a side of roast potatoes, salad and tzatziki dip. Overall we enjoy this meal and the quick service. Meat was cooked well and plentiful. My only suggestion would be to keep the pita bread separate to the meat as it went soggy (as we got it takeaway) and maybe more dip. The potatoes were very yummy! Nice flavour.
Very friendly service, have only been late night to get cakes so far, but they are absolutely delicious!! Great atmosphere :) I’ll definitely be returning.
First time dining at Cafe Creco with a friend the staff were friendly and kind the food was excellent. Excellent place to eat with families and friends.
Friendly & attentive service and good quality food.
The $15 lunch special is great value for money.
Big variety to choose from, generous serves and includes a glass of nice wine. Would definitely recommend a visit here!
Ordered beef burger and chips as part of the 15 dollar deal, was pleasantly surprised to have two sauces served with chips, burger was really nice, beef was nicely cooked and lettuce in burger was nicely cooked, Diet Coke was served with lemon and was really refreshing :) I’ll be back :)
UPDATE: just ordered the grilled calamari salad takeaway- the calamari was perfectly cooked and nice and tender, was nicely seasoned and the freshness of the sun dried tomatoes was just what it needed, Diet Coke in takeaway cup thanks cafe Greco you never disappoint me ☺️☺️☺️
Average food, average drink but very good value if you come for their $15 lunch deal. We ordered beef burger and calamari and chips. The main complaint for the burger was probably the bun, it was cut poorly and it was somewhat too soggy. As for the calamari, the portion was kinda small, I know it's a lunch deal, but I was kinda expecting more. The aioli sauce was awesome though, and they also served tomato sauce which was nice. They also employed a sizeable number of staffs, which is good, they could respond quickly to hand wave and the food came out pretty quickly too. However this also means that there will be someone keep asking you if everything is okay and they will ask for your plates the moment you look like you finish eating. It's a bit annoying to be honest, but hey better than getting ignored.
Great $15 lunch menu with drink of choice including house wines. All our meals were delicious, especially the way the meats were seasoned and cooked. We'll be back. Great value. Service was also good. Venue a bit noisy but busy for a Saturday so to be expected.
E: Came here for a nice, quiet dinner to celebrate my mums birthday. Like every elder, Chinese lady always on the hunt for VALUE, Cafe Greco had us at "15 choices for $15". And what value it proved to be.
For those who've read my previous reviews, I generally leave service until near the end as critiquing the food always seems to be my priority. However, after last nights experience, I HAVE to address it first thing.
Close friends of mine will have definitely heard my infamous story of unsuccessfully requesting tomato sauce for my chips more than 4 times in one sitting at Cafe Greco and the mission was a failure. It's no lie, all my prior visits I have unfortunately received terrible service. HOWEVER, last night is the reason I still believe in miracles.
It may be due to new standards implemented or possibly due to staff we were served by last night that I hadn't seen prior, but the service quality had improved immensely. We were looked after by two gentlemen throughout the evening and they delivered truly exceptional service. My nan even noted, and I quote, "did this young man go to waiter school or something? He is lovely". My brother and I also mentioned to the other waiter that it was my mums birthday and he kindly organised a special surprise for her with desert (see pictures). Absolutely exceptional service this time around and a massive, massive improvement - I even received tomato sauce with my order without having to ask more than once, ha.
Now for the important stuff. Oh the food. Oh the value. Cafe Greco offers a great range with their "15 choices for $15" (see pictured). Each of those meals are full sized and come with a drink - what VALUE.
I opted for the Chicken Gyros Wrap, and although an extremely delicious choice, one bite of my brothers Penne Ionian, I knew I made a terrible mistake. Don't get me wrong, the wrap was super soft and chicken was scrumptious, but the Penne was a whole other level, even good enough for me to overthrow the feature of tzatziki in the wrap which is my favourite. For those who enjoy a creamy napoli sauce, you HAVE to try this. Overall, again I cannot repeat how value this was to include a drink and an amazing meal for $15. Amazing.
In terms of desert, we all shared a few servings of the Apple Crumble and the New York Cheesecake amongst ourselves. Being a big fan of apple crumble, I had high expectations that were just shot in the face. Apple Crumble? I was so tempted as to collect all the menus in the restaurant, pull my sharpie out of my handbag (as every woman obviously has handy on them at all times in their handbags, just like our microwaves), and cross out "Crumble" on every menu. The pastry was sided with just Apple, no Crumble whatsoever. After experiencing the most disheartening, plot twist of the century, I mourned and grieved for my dear apple crumble, and finally gathered the strength to ask my dad for a taste of his New York Cheesecake. I mentioned before I believed in miracles, but this was a resurrection. Oh my. What a perfect combination of a crumbly yet chewy texture - possibly the finest cheese cake I've had. The aforementioned waiter stressed that he'd highly recommend the cheesecake and after tasting it, I had to question how he'd allow for such a CRIME to occur when I'd ordered the Apple Crumble instead. Anyways, long story short, [not really, seeing as you'd read everything to get up to here], get the New York Cheesecake.

Casual, relaxed, no frills Cafe. Great service, attentive staff, very generous servings! We shared a plate of really tender calamari with chips salad and mayonnaise and a plate of tasty mixed meat grilled meats.
Great service by the staff. Had the $20 lunch special garlic prawn with jasmine rice + lemon squash. The food was nice and really tasty, came in super hot. The serving portion's good as well, the prawns though were on the smaller scale, so only getting 5 prawns might not be enough for some to finish the rice that comes with it especially if you are after the prawn rather than the rice. The sauce, however, was amazing. The place wasn't too busy when we came in so it was a bit quiet which was nice for an early lunch.
The food was pretty good as was the service. The venue was quite loud so if you want to chat while eating you need to raise your voice.
Have always enjoyed my meals the older man with glasses makes us feel comfortable and the waitresses always nice, couldn't even finish the steak.
Cafe Greco is one of our go to local restaurants for Greek food. The portion sizes are fairly big, so great for big appetites! The vibe of the place is friendly and family orientated. Our waiter was very polite and professional. A great place for a meal if you plan on going to the Hoyts Cinema right next door. I can certainly recommend this restaurant.
My friend and I received wonderful service. The atmosphere was amazing and service just as good. The food was ultra delish but wayyyyy too big. I think the platter for two is more like a platter for 4 girls and maybe for 2 if two hungry males had it. Staff were lovely with takeaway containers and service was with a big smile
