The best, freshest sushi and sashimi around. I ordered a large No 50 platter last night and a beef tataki. Both were flawless. The tuna is plentiful (unlike many Sushi businesses) and the balance of flavours perfect. My no 1 Japanese takeaway place.

Best local sushi, my family and I have been having it weekly for years and years — all the staff recognise us and know our orders by heart! The sushi is well-sized, and the fish is fresh and tasty. My favourites are the tuna and salmon, although the salmon is sometimes too fatty and hard to chew. Prices have gone up over the years but it’s still worth it.

Such good sushi - beautiful fish and made fresh all day. We always try to stop here when we are passing the area as the sushi is so good! Highly recommend.

Not sure about changing owner story but my partner and I was looking for a takeaway sushi. In suburb area it's not easy to find one on a sat night and we managed to find one here thanks to zomato. Ordered takeaway with spicy california and nigiri box and all taste fresh. Not disappointed.

Don't know about the changing owners theory but the last time I had their sushi was amazing. Still one of my favourite sushi eat outs. You can taste the freshness in the sushi's and its pretty affordable.

I have been coming to this place for many years. Although the standard has dropped a little since the Japanese owners sold business to Chinese owners, it is still the best sushi store in the area. California rolls are amazing. So are the salmon rolls and sashimi.

Eaten here for YEARS.... Even after the business had changed hands the standard never dropped. One of my favourite sushi takeaway joints. Platters are great for sharing. Very fresh seafood professionally made

Great sushi. I have been going here for the past 7 years and the sushi is always amazing! The fish is very fresh and prices very reasonable for what you get. I've been to many sushi places around Melbourne and this place is still my favourite! Thanks guys

Best Sushi ever!!! Never go to other places after we had Pop Sushi. Always fresh and tasty ingredients, especially the rice and salmon. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Always fresh and quality ingredients with great portions!! Love their salmon and prawn sushi as well as mango and avocado sushi (seasonal right now). If you have never tried raw beef sashimi before I would highly recommend you try it too. Fresh, tender and safe.

Real sushi, really clean good food. The shop is always very very clean and the staff are friendly and professional. Highly recommend over any of the sushi sushi style places, these guys are terrific. Some of the reviews below are utter garbage, its fresh every day and ive never had a bad experience in over 10 years eating here.

Everytime I'm in the area I'll get Californian Rolls and Sushi from Pop Sushi it has always been 10/10. This is one of the only places i would totally recommend to go to. It will not disapoint. I have been coming here for years and i will keep on coming back. All the best to them. :)
