Good menu variety. Standard Thai food. Service is Ok but can be hard to get waitress attention when needed. BYO Beer and Wine. Great place to take the family for a reasonably priced meal.
EXCELLENT
Great Thai restaurant in Templestowe. Good fresh, tasty and well prepared dishes with not fatty bits in their meat dishes. They use good cuts of meat not cheap stuff. Service is excellent and the prices reasonable. This place is a regular go to for us.
Had dinner here tonight and it was beautiful. We had the thai chicken green curry and pad thai along with curry puffs. The food came out very fast and the waitresses were lovely. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the future to try out their other dishes!
Lovely family restaurant.. caught up with some mums for a quiet dinner. We enjoyed the banquet and went all out with the lot including dessert.. of course we couldn’t finish it so they happily gave us some take away containers for the rest.
Well priced and tasty - though I prefer a bit more zing in my Thai. Mild enough I’d actually bring the family...but might go elsewhere for some spice. We had Tom yum, delicious entrees, red duck curry, sweet and sour chicken, pad Thai and who could go wrong with banana fritters for dessert?
Had takeaway from here a couple of times & it has always been good. Servings are big i generally share or get 2 meals out of it which is great. Good vaule!
Such a sweet family, that take such pride in the restaurant. Every dish is served to perfection, amazingly fresh produce all round and such effort put into just the decorations of food on the plates. Sadly flavour does lack slightly in some dishes, but everything else makes up for that. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as l find the owners/operators to be so sincere in wanting to provide the best food and service around. Lovely atmosphere and restaurant with a very warm and welcoming environment.
This is a great little Thai place, particularly for out in Templestowe where local food choices can be a bit limited.
Huge portions with high quality ingredients and affordable too. Food has fairly authentic flavours and they offer a good range of choices with their menu.
Decor is simple and it's BYO alcohol. While staff aren't impeccable they are attentive and try hard to please. It isn't a fancy place but it's clean and well looked after, certainly not scruffy just plain and understated.
Worth a visit, particularly if you are local. Again, it's another place where you have to consider its location - it's really good food. For the area it's great food - it's not "drive an hour because you must eat there food".
Dont know why there are negative reviews. Been to plenty of thai places in melbourne and this is the only one that the food is perfect every time. Beyond kind staff, try the bbq chicken.
Very happy, found my new Thai , excellent food, great service, lots of people getting take away , very quick getting the meals out , my 16 year old son said "best ever"
This place is a hit and miss for me. The food is good without being great. I'm a big fan of chicken pad thai but the one at Leelavadee lacks a bit of really kick a$$ flavour. Service is ok without being great. I would recommend it as a take away option. If you are just looking for some ok Thai, then give it a go.
