This place is so cozy and inviting and their buttermilk scones are amazing. Their tea is delicious. Will definitely visit again .

What a gorgeous spot! Sorry we discovered this hidden gem on our last morning. Christine & Steve were so welcoming and even gave us takeaway cups for our coffees that we were unable to drink as we were in a hurry. Well done we will return.

A fabulous cafe with great food and service. The cafe gardens are beautiful and sitting out on the verandah was lovely. I really liked the iced tea and how it was served. I will definitely return next time I'm in town.

Home-made everything! And it's fantastic too. My lamb shank, barley and veg soup was just the thing on a cold day. Belgium hot chocolate drink was to die for ❤

Lovely atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and cool verandahs to sit. The meals are well priced and taste delicious. Great selection of cakes to have with the huge choice of teas and coffees.

Great cafe and open to 4pm which is great for a late lunch. Sit on the front balcony and watch the world go by.

I loved The Bohemian Tearoom! We visited there as part of a spontaneous road trip to Tenterfield. Forgetting daylight savings, the business had actually just closed but Steve, the owner and PR guru, happened to be out the front and kindly let us in. We then met his friendly wife, Christine, who oversees the kitchen and, as a former Home Economics teacher, certainly knows her stuff! Without getting carried away, everything was wonderful. The coffee was rated very highly by my fussy wife, I loved my homemade Chai tea, and the rhubarb tart and prune & ginger cake were both beautiful. As the name suggests, tea is their speciality and, I believe, there are about 40+ on offer. The premises felt like I was visiting my grandparents (although at my age they're more like my parents!) and we enjoyed sitting on the big couch in the corner. The fireplace would be idyllic in the colder months. I highly recommend The Bohemian Tearoom to anyone visiting or passing through Tenterfield. It's a great business owned and operated by two lovely people.

These tearooms are absolutely fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious just like my nana use to make. The carrot cake was great and the chocolate brownie was also delicous! The people that run the place are also very friendly!
