they recently updated the menu which is nothing but great, had the fried chicken bao buns which were sooooooo good. we went with a table of 8 and everyone enjoyed their meals
good food and drinks selection for a local pub. pork belly melted in my mouth and my partner enjoyed her noodle dish too. just moved into area and will definitely visit again
A good local pub. Came down with some mates and had the parmi, decent size and tasty. Mate got the steak that was cooked perfectly. Washed down with cheap beers during happy hour. Will be back.
Came here with the family on the weekend and could not fault a thing. Nice big beer garden with live music being played, beers were cold and at a great price (all pint $8 on sundays), and everyone loved the food.
The Bao Buns here are amazing!Staff were super friendly and amazing, despite how busy they were.They have a generous sized specials list on top of daily specials such as Parmy & Pint for $20 on Thursdays.Will definitely be back!
Tuesday $15 steak night is a must! Omg was so deliciously good, steak perfect, chips perfect, mushroom sauce perfect! 2 meals for $30 can't go wrong there, will defiantly be going back!
Don't understand the low score, Zomato seems to have high ratings for places that are shit and shit ratings for places that good. I'm seriously over using this shitty app, I find better luck just googling where to eat. Anyways rant aside I had a fantastic time here at Lakers. The food was all really good at great a great price. The service was outstanding with the staff apologising for the wait after not waiting long and were all really friendly. I will definitely be back.
Was pleasantly surprised when we came here for dinner. I ordered the soft shell crab bao buns and wow they were amazing! Fries were good too and my friend enjoyed her meal of a selection of the starters. Service was good but the heating inside was absolutely awful. My eyes and lips were so dry we had hot air blowing on us the whole time. It definitely shortened our evening and we left to get some fresh air and some much needed lip balm. I would come back and strategically sit somewhere else. Great it was in the entertainment book too.
Great food, nice variety and shoft shell crab bao buns are awesome. Live acoustic music sunday arvos is very entertaining and great selection of beers on tap, will be going back regularly
I haven't been in many years but we went there on a whim as our first choice was closed. The food was great and so was the service. We were there during a Saturday lunchtime and ordered a chicken Parma, steak sandwich, nachos and sliders. All were very nice. The lemon lime and bitters was very nice too, not too sweet, as it was made with fresh lines rather than cordial. We're now looking forward to going back!
Had the share platter special for $50... the lamb wasn't washed throughly, so the taste was "gamey", but overall the food was good. However the attention of the service staff could have been a lot better.

Just enjoyed Christmas lunch at Lakers Tavern. Very nice meal, service was exceptional. Will be booking again next year.
I had a lovely time with my auntie there last night we had onion bhaji and grilled fish and chips because the barramundi had just ran out! I’m looking forward to tasting the barramundi another time, it’s obviously very popular.
The servings were very generous, and I’ll definitely be back.
This is what hamburger you can expect at LAKERS TAVERN for $27.00 . we will never be going back , we were 20 year local patrons and there was only 10 people including us for dinner and not ONE SINGLE PERSON at the bar . Salt and pepper squid had SALSA from a jar from Coles ?? at a guess and the hamburger had no salad , no tomato , NOTHING .
