Aug-2022 update: Back this year after the lockdown last year, this place is as packed as ever. Recommend booking well in advance to get a seat for lunch, alternatively pop in around 10am for hot chocolate and salted pretzels. Be prepared to be kicked out at 11.30 latest as they prep for lunch bookings. Pretzels are great and you need to come in early for this. It was sold out around 1pm on Saturday. No takeaway food Aug-2019 review: Delicious sit-down German restaurant, a great change from meat pies, sausage rolls and hot dogs. Grazing board, pretzels, sausages and pork knuckle were delish. Prices not so much.
The best food on the mountain and a great vibe! Highly recommend.
There are an assortment of places to stay or eat. We enjoyed our walk around town but the action is on the mountain. Outside ski season there is the option to do a hike or mountain bike riding using the chair lift.
