What a hidden gem and a good mix-up to the classic country pub parmy and pint.
Goat, prawn and butter chicken curries were all delicious and well priced. Dined in one night and got takeaway the next and both times were great.
I had a curry which was super good, I also got naan bread too but it came out way later so there was a temperature disparity. Husband got a burger which although tasty was pretty rare. If you aren't a rare meat kind of person you might want to ask them to cook it a little longer.
Took a drive to Toodyay today. Something to do on a sunny Winters day. The town was bustling, pubs were busy. We found this place and had the nicest curries! It was a coolish day, so perfect weather for it.
We had the samosas to start with which were beautiful, gentle spiced vegetables wrapped in buttery pastry. I then had the nicest butter chicken and my partner had a rich goat curry. Both were full of flavour and spice without being too hot.
Perth people, go for a drive. It's well worth the visit and a nice day out.
Goat curry with rice 9/10 - not a strong goaty flavour and delicious. If I hadn’t had a better one before it would have got a 10.
Prawn curry - 9/10 - no tails!!!! Delicious. Served piping hot and good spice.
Butter naan fresh and authentic.
OMG, WHAT AWESOME FOOD!!!!! MY BEAUTIFUL HASN'T HAD ANY CURRIES FOR MANY YEARS AND HE SAID ITS THE BEST ONE OUT OF THE ONES HE HAS HAD IN THE PAST, BY FAR WAS THE BEST. I on the other hand am a Pasta person, AND LOVED MY PASTA MEAL. TOODAY AND THE SURROUNDING PLACES, TREAT YOURSELVES TO SOMETHING SPECIAL. 11 OUT OF 10 RATING!!!!💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
