We celebrated one of our significant events at this place and we really enjoyed the place, delicious food and excellent customer service. Definitely recommend this place for your celebrations. Prices were also very reasonable. Thanks Manjula, Jayod and all the crew for giving us an unforgettable experience all together.
Absolutely amazing! Start to finish. The curries were really fragrant with meat that just melted in your mouth. And the hoppas were perfectly cooked (not too thin but with a milky centre YUM). And we couldn’t forget the stunning sambols either. And the staff were just lovely, they made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much to ask for. It was so nice to have experienced the Wednesday $15 hoppa and curry buffet night and we can not wait to come back to try the rest of the menu
Nice place for a Sri Lankan cuisine... love the curries, kotthu and string hoppers.. my go to place for spicy food cravings... best when compared to other small places around..
Inconsistencies with their Kottu Rotti, sometimes the chicken Kottu is soggy, and the chicken is cooked in different ways. One day it'll be awesome and another day it'll be a completely different texture and taste wise.
Nasi goreng and goat biryani is superb though.
Overall it is a decent gateway to Sri Lankan food.
Yummy, authentic Sri Lankan cusine! Love their Kottu Rotti, Biryani and short eats. Buffet is reasonably prices and had wide variety of food. Salt was a bit low for some, but over all, it was nice. They have several different offers around the week for different items.
One thing i didn't like at all is the way some sales people behave. They talk to the other staff / chef in their native language, but when we talk to them in the same language, they pretend that they do not understand and make faces as well, which is... rude! I'm sure that amending this and making a good rapport with their customers would really help them prosper more in their business.
So yummy. Generous serve of meat curry, rice and three vegetables at a very reasonable price. Authentic Ceylon flavours in a casual dining setting.
We will be back for dinner one day.
Love their rice and curry meals. We are here almost every weekend and never get sick of it. Try their goat curry and kola malluma. Portion size is generous and cheap compared to other places. Good ambiance with Sri Lankan music playing in the background (dining area). The egg curry is a bit watery but their polos curry is the bomb!
Whilst the Sri Lankan staples were well executed and great value, for me the winning dish was the malaysian Nasi Goreng (fried rice)! Flavourful rice, bbq chook bits, juicy prawns and a perfectly fried egg. Great quantity for 13$ too - enough for 3 or takeaway lunch for work the next day!!
Really tasty food! Better than the other ones here...try the chicken n egg puff, it's amazing! The pepper pork is also something different that u don't usually get around here. The fried peppers are hot! Will be back to check more of them menu out!
