this place is nice, i remember when it opened and really enjoying the juices. Their chicken sandwiches are so delicious i'm craving them right now!
Excellent friendly service. Food and coffee was great. We recommend the eggs florentine and rawkstar juice. Haven’t been to this area in a while, and finding this place here is a nice surprise.
Their almond milk hot chocolates are perfection! I’m not sure which almond milk they use but it’s perfect. Great price too ($5 for a large takeaway). I will be a regular customer now!
We found that this cafe's coffee was rather weak and subtle. It doesn't have a full, rich and bitter coffee taste that we look for.
The pranna chai was just as expected and like the many other cafes that serve that chai.
I had the Italian Breakfast which was a nice alternative to the usual avo on toast. The egg, mushrooms and polenta blended perfectly but I'm afraid that it lacked seasoning.
Eggs and bacon on toast, well you can't go wrong with it.
Gutted these guys aren't on foodora anymore (hey it's me who ordered like the same thing every day 😂😂)
But came in Friday and had a take away of the old faithful - that chicken sandwich. What can be better than fresh chicken breast with mayo, mango relish and avocado. On Woodfrog bakery bread. Yes.. So good.
The chocolate milkshake is out of this world too. Love this place so much and I don't go anywhere else for lunch if I'm popping in for something in the village. Staff are great here too and seating outside that's NOT engulfed in disgusting smoke from smokers like the uh-hum one next door.
Come here with kids as they'll love it.
Yet again another of Toorak's classic establishments. Cannot say with authority where the name comes from but to me it sounds like the fake posh characters in Kath and Kim and how they would speak... A little irony on behalf of the owners of this Toorak establishment perhaps. But seeing as this is EXACTLY where these posh accented people hang out, the joke is on who exactly ??
Onto the food... the muffins and sweets looked delicious but I just opted for a take away long black coffee. The coffee was okay, the standard of coffee is not particularly high in Toorak so I would probably return if I was in the market for another coffee. It was a bit too hot for me though .
Although this place offers takeaway the set up was very awkward. I take issue with the architecture and interior design of this place as we were left standing awkwardly in the middle of the cafe, getting in the way of staff and customers, while we waited for our cofffee. There was no where for take away coffee people to stand. The cafe itself was a very peculiar shape and I feel as though it would be uncomfortable to eat in. There is outside seating for a hot day that I'd be keen to check out.
Would like to return and try more than just the coffee . Lots of Toorak folks here so a good spot for people watching.
Mexican corn bread = excellent. Slightly cheesy, subtle spring onion flavour with perfect crispy bacon. The avocado and mint mix is delicious. Egg white souffle also a good option - nice to be able to pick your own sides with it.
Came for breakfast on Sunday. Eventhough the place was quite busy we were served quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and fresh. Definitely worth a visit.
Good service and absolutely delicious salads, love the latte and chicken sandwich. Warm atmosphere overall especially love the outdoor sitting environment!
Came here for a juice and hot chocolate today. Nice vibe and definitely one of the better places to eat at TV. The staff are nice and accommodating. I've heard the food is great too!
