Amazing!!! such a Great Spot with Great Coffee, Amazing food and Friendly Staff... Love this place
You guys are the best! Thanks for making my little boy's day special with his birthday brownie!
Really good meal, great portion sizes. Only problem is a serious lack of seating. They’re very quick with meals so hood turn over didn’t have to wait too long
Came in for breakfast during a get away. I really wanted the salmon eggs Benedict or hot smoked salmon and eggs- everything on peoples plates looked delicious. Unfortunately my hangover wouldn’t allow more than a nibble on something easy on the stomach.
The ham and cheese croissant had a smidge of mustard which was comforting in my time of need. Partner had a southern fried chicken burger which was one of the best I’ve tasted - good chicken, good slaw, good bun.
Great atmosphere - lots of upcycling and my type of music. Service was nice. Looking forward to coming back and trying a salmon something.
Really enjoyed the smashed avocado and coffee here must say one of the best around the area, friendly staff and great food on the go or dine in
Food and coffee is top notch and doesn’t sting your wallet. The laneway location can be tricky to find, if it’s your first time but it’s absolutely well worth it. Pity I live in Melbourne otherwise I’d be here every morning for breakfast.
This hipster cafe is one of the few places that is open on Sundays in Toowoomba. We tried a house blend and a single origin and they were both great.
Situated in a sunny lane way where street art is the hero. This place is the ultimate hipster cafe. I had the ultimate hipster drink- the cold drip coffee and it was so good and refreshing on a steamy Toowoomba day. Next time I'm visiting Toowoomba I'll be back!
Does My Bomb Look Big In This

If you’re staring at your smart phone and following the rather impressive First Coat app. into the back alleys and laneways of Toowoomba – and you should – you’re likely to stumble upon Ground Up Espresso Bar. It sits on Searles Walk between a bright purple piece by New Zealand artist, Askew One, on the Duggan Street end, and an equally impressive tropically inspired mural at the Ruthven Street end by Sydney-based commercial artist, JUMBOist. They won my business by stocking The Baker’s Duck pastries that I completely lost my mind over last week. Word on Ruthven Street is, they’re delivered every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, meaning there are now four days a week you can get your hands on these beauties. There’s only a small indoor space, so pull up a pew in the laneway to tuck into a generous Eggs Benedict ($17.50) that certainly looked the part. It's dished up on an old-school enamel plate, but sadly lacked a little...
Ordered the pulled pork on brioche. The pulled pork was on the bland side and I couldn't taste any of the barbecue sauce that was stated on the menu. Service was good and the long black was decent.
Good hipster coffee, has been somewhat inconsistent in the past with staff turnover. Coffee is Toby's estate. Nice selection of light meals and treats on the menu.
My favorite. One of the coolest little cafes I've been to and by far the coolest in Toowoomba. Fantastic coffee (try their cold drip coffee in warmer months) with an extensive menu. Food is limited to a simple but every well done selection of bagels with a range of toppings, eggs your way, house made beans (Sean Beans), pulled pork bun (Notorious P.I.G), corn fritters, few other goodies and some sweets from the cabinet. The pulled pork is to die for. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and very easy on the eye. The owner is passionate and attentive. You guys rock.
