Review Dolly's Kitchen - Toowoomba

Been here several times and have loved the food everytime. The only reason not 5 stars is because last time we had to wait for 55 minutes for takeaway. Shattered! Dolly's Kitchen has closed. Don't know why, but my taste buds are the poorer for it. :(

I Have been a few times now, the food is incredible. Highly recommend, Beef Massamam, Chicken Red Curry, Pad thai and the Honey Crispy Chicken. You won't be disappointed. Best Thai food in Toowoomba. Lovely customer service, they always greet you with a smile.

Casual dining experience, large portions and convenient location and parking. Mix of both Thai and Filipino meals and some old favs like Honey checkne and fried rice. Wish them all the best in business.

Whaat???? $65.00 for 2 rice, lechon kawali, crispy chicken with lemon, tom yup soup and halo-halo??? Im soo surprised after my husband told me after he paid, charges different price in the menu and dine in with out telling the costumer's, and to my surprised, i was shocked, i go back and asked the cashier, and she told me that, Prices are different from the menu and never changes.. Oh My God.. asan ang hustisya po?. Soo far maka afford naman pero, too much for me. . Soo dissapointed. .😑😑😑

Good food, but the service was a bit off. In a party of five there was nearly one hour between the first of our main courses and the last. Dolly's is not licensed - however there is a liquor store only a few doors away and Dolly's does not charge corkage.

Amazing food, wonderful service and such a beautiful restaurant! Definitely recommend trying Dolly's kitchen, you'll be back for more.

Enjoyed the food. Meals to large table served at different times. Some people finished before others got their meals.

Have eaten here three times now. The Thai half of the menu is great, with fresh veggies and tender meat, and lots of spice without being too hot (even my five-year old could eat everything). The Mongolian Duck was incredible, I don't think I've had such tender duck in a meal of any cuisine, and the flavour was so much more balanced and refined than the usual Mongolian style dishes you get from every Chinese restaurant in Australia. The Filipino half of the menu is very interesting, with dishes and ingredients we're not overly familiar with. Some of them are presumably an acquired taste, such as those that contain pork blood and similar, and I avoided those kind of things. However, everything I did try was spectacular. I have no hesitation in saying this is the best food from a restaurant in Toowoomba at the moment. This is a family run, small restaurant, so it's a long way from silver service, but the staff are friendly and welcoming. BYO drinks from the bottle shop next door, I don't think there's even a corkage fee. I will say that we ordered takeaway from here once, and it was a very different experience...service was very slow and the meals were unpleasant. I'm not sure if the recipes are different somehow, or if they were just having a bad night. It wasn't enough to stop me coming back to dine in though, and I'm glad I did!

Incredible food. We came up from Melbourne today and Dolly's was suggested to us for dinner. It's truly up there with the best of them. Coconut rice perfection. Papaya Salad best we have eaten and the soy/vinegar squid a total standout. Highly recommended.

Delicious food! We ordered the spring rolls, kare kare and lechon kawali, which was a bit expensive for takeaway but tasted great!

Very delicious!! We ordered takeaway from the Filipino menu - we requested very mild for the children, was still so flavoursome and scrumptious!! The Pork Kare Kare especially went down a treat! Thank you again :)

It's an absolute delight to dine at Dollys. We love the authentic cooking, generous serving and friendly staff. We're a regular now, we love it �

Dolly recommended the beef Caldereta and the Kare Kare and both we SO GOOD! Rich and delicious. I haven't eaten Filipino food before but if this is it, I'm in love. Thank you Dolly's Kitchen, absolutely recommend and will be back.

Great food at a reasonable price...perfect for a lazy rainy Friday night dinner.

The food is amazingly tasty. I have eaten here so many times and the food is always delicious. Our family favourite is lichuan paksiw but I reckon all the dishes all so yummy. Very friendly environment and great little spot for a quiet family dinner.

Dinner here last night for the first time & the food was delicious. My wife & daughter are convinced it is the best Honey Chicken they have ever tasted & trust me between them they have tried a few! I tried one of the Filipino dishes & it was sooo yummy!

Green chicken curry was good , however also ordered the caldereta beef , which was full of beef and frankfurters, now I'm not Filipino but I suspect it isn't a traditional ingredient. Won't be back

Wonderful, fresh food! My only conplaint is that I didn't know about it sooner! Amazing flavours and the best coconut rice ever!

Honest, home style cooking at great prices. I've been to Dolly's Kitchen quite a few times now and I mainly order off the Fillipino menu just to try something different. Portion sizes are generous, service is fast and the restaurant is BYO so prices are small. Adobo chicken is excellent and so are the Fillipino prawn dishes. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep coming back !

Dined in for the first time tonight. Great Filipino food. We were impressed with the Pinakbet and Crispy Pata. Will definitely come back next time we are in Toowoomba 👍
