Toowoomba is not that big a city. I have pretty much tried every fish n chip shop in town now. These guys are hands down the best. Consistently good fresh fish n chips. Good batter not oily. Highly recommend. Added crumb scallops to my fish n chip order today. Scallops brilliant.

Fish depot saved my dinner. Got fish and chips at High Tide fish and chips in north point shopping center it was awful and I left my $18 order on the counter as I could not eat it! They did not care that their food was like rubber. Went to Fish Depot got a beautiful generous piece of coral trout in a light crisp batter with homemade potato scollops just the way it should be. Thanks Fish Depot for taking pride. High tide should come and see how fish and chips should be done and stop ripping people off.

Beautiful food, reasonably priced and friendly staff. I thoroughly recommend the Mackerel, huge pieces of lovely meaty fish (pictured - galaxy buds for size 😳) Delicious! Oh, and the calamari...Yummy 😋

Fish and chips shop is located in the Red Edge shopping centre. The staff are friendly and helpful. We went for lunch and there were lots of people eating so I know it was going to be good. The fish is fresh and tasty and the chips we perfect cooked.
