This is the closest thing to legit Baja Mexican food in the region which is really refreshing as most restaurateurs attempting Mexican around here either go for way too cheesy Tex-Mex or add an expensive twist like fancy ingredients that you'd never find in Mexico to try and justify exorbitant price
Staff are friendly, nice little place, had live music on while I was there. Food just didn’t quite hit the spot for me, I seemed to get grainy bits every so often too, like dirt or something. Flavours just missed the mark, I had the BBQ pulled pork and was just underwhelming, I mean for $20 I guess
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to. The food is absolutely delicious and portion sizes are just right. The drinks are priced reasonably and the Margarita's are spot on. Chicken enchilada was very nice and the range of mexican beer was a fun adventure to say the least. They also do home made hot sauce, which was very nice indeed. Staff was also very nice and fun.
