Great meal on a Saturday night. Glad the other places were full because the food was great. Generous meals, friendly service- quite end of the strand made for a nice family night out. Would definitely return.

Had lunch here, the food was excellent and the wait staff were very atentive and lively, overall very enjoyable.
Ordered for two. Bircher muesli with berry compote with Greek yoghurt (too little and runny), served with decent sized almonds and shaved coconut, English breakfast tea (came out last), a breakfast special of scrambled eggs, two peppered sausages, smashed avo and sourdough toast.
Boost cleanser drink ($8.50) but large.
Service was on the more friendlier side in Townsville.
All was higher priced but quality.
Scrambled eggs were slightly over cooked but otherwise we were happy with the experience.
My partner and I were both full for sometime after these dishes even after a castle hill walk, so IMO this is a good sign!
Awesome friendly stafff, amazing choices for vegetarians, poached eggs cooked perfectly and odyssey boost refresher is out of this world!!!
Couldn't fault the service this morning constantly attended to White mocha was creamy and probably the best in Townsville minus the Luke warm temperature. Cappuccino was strong which is good for some. Bircher museli was too thick. Could almost cut it. Flavor was good minus the overpowering cinnamon. The big breakfast was nothing special, nothing stood out but def. lived up to its name.
Slow service but good food and coffee. Value for money but make sure you go on a lazy Sunday when you're feeling patient. Worth the trip.
Water views. Situated down the far end of the Esplanade, Odyssey seemed to be the spot for the ladies who lunch on Fridays ! The menu features all the usual suspects as far as Greek cuisine goes. Interesting to see a lamb ragout with spaghetti as a special, which received a thumbs up from one of our fellow diners. Another diner ordered the lamb on skewers which was very tough, my chicken & mango and salad was tasty. The service was good however found the menu to be on the expensive side for the venue and quality of the food.

A good place to grab a bite to eat or a coffee. The prices are good and the portions are very generous. The view of the water is pretty good and we had a nice sea breeze while we ate lunch.
They have a kids menu too, the portions for kids are also very generous.
Worth dropping by and checking it out.
Dropped in to the cafe this morning as I have done on many occasions and as usual the food, coffee and service was excellent. Had the French toast as seen in photo and can highly recommend it. I have had many variations at different cafes and can honestly say this was the best.
The greeting and happy service you receive at Odyssey set the tone for a relaxed pleasant breakfast. The happy young waiter met us at our table with water and glasses. Our breakfast of pancakes and coffee came quickly and were of their usual excellent standard.
This restaurant has got a unique style for Australia but typical Greek one. We looked for the pancake places in Townsville online and we found this place. The pancakes were exactly as shown on the website. We had a nice lunch there and we definitely recommend this place for the unique atmosphere, big menu, tasty food, great service and coffee of course!
Went to Odyssey on The Strand yesterday. Great service excellent morning tea and tea was hot. My friends also commented on the quality of the morning tea and coffee was just right. Recommend this coffee shop with its lovely sea breezes and views.
