Great pub great atmosphere staff are very friendly and polite, has a convenient take away bottle shop and would recommend this hotel to friends and family, will definitely be back again.

New management has taken over!! Cant fault this place!! Food is always good weather you have a sit down meal or take away like we did tonight, BBQ bourban glazed rib! Got home and the chips are still crunchy and not at all soggy!! Rib you can eat with a fork straight off the bone if it doesnt fall off beforehand! Such a great vibe now! Hats off to the chef!!

The best food in Townsville. Honestly we have never had a bad meal there. The parmy is outstanding. The kitchen staff are lovely. The service is quick. The pub is clean. The prices are very good. Hats off to the chef's. Always look forward to a meal there.
Went on a Sunday arvo to listen to live music. Nice bluesy vibe. Had a cool seat looking out that was good for people watching. The old mariner feel has been kept around the area and adds to the nostalgia of the place. Schooner of XXXX Gold $6.50. Glass of 150ml house wine $5.50. There is a bit of history with this Pub too. Worth a visit. ✌
Quiet lunch with Amazing Breeze at the Shamrock. The food was most excellent. Staff awesomely friendly. This was a refreshing stop whilst in Townsville. We would recommend the Shamrock to all.

Had a lovely time at the bar. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The dining area was quiet and nice. Had vegetarian pizza with jalapeño, capsicum, black olives etc. I can vouch that is the best pizza I had ever tasted. The pizza size is also substantial. The chef, Pippa, is great. She personally came over to our table to check if the pizza is to our liking. Don’t ever miss the pizza here. Shamrock beer is pretty average.
