I went tonight for the second time. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is really good.
We had a wide selection from the menu, including the crocodile with coriander and chilli, the Coral trout with ginger and the quail.
I definitely will be going back again

This is one of, if not the best Chinese restaurant in Townsville. I always go there whenever I am in Townsville. The seafood, especially the fish, prawns and scallops are always fresh. Dynasty is one of the few places I willingly order steamed fish as there is no hiding the quality and freshness of fish when steamed, instead of when it is fried. We started with seafood San Choy Bow and fried quails for entree. This was followed by coral trout steamed with ginger and shallots, a seafood hotpot (or claypot), pork ribs Chinese style, king prawns, duck with Chinese mushrooms plus the customary white rice. All the dishes were very good and tasty, though the highlight for me was the steamed fish, followed by the San Choy Bow. The king prawns were well cooked and the pork ribs went very well with the sauce it came in. There could have been a little more duck in the duck & Chinese mushrooms dish, though the mushrooms were very juicy and thick. There is a good selection of wines and cocktails, as well as a very nice selection of ports and other dessert wines. There is a free car park just a few doors down from the restaurant and there is normally parking available there. Overall a must visit in Townsville if you like Chinese seafood cuisine.
There was about 10 ppl at our table, we all had the banquet (fixed dishes), it was great, couldn't complain, food was fresh, cooked well, tasted great. Service was great too. Unfortunately I got distracted and didn't take pictures. Im interested to come back to try the duck or crab next, heard it's great. But it is pricey. I'm happy to pay as long as it's good.
