Came here after a recommendation of someone really know about the area, had an antipasto board, fritata with salad and coffee, overall the antipasto was great, love all the condiments in iy, coffee was great too, but the fritata was just okay. Service was okay, even though it was obvious that they were more concentrating on the event inside, but they still check on us once in a while. Outdoor was plenty of space and we love the hanging pots and the mini apple tree.
Were do I begin! So it was late Saturday afternoon and we were on the lookout for some late lunch and wine! Walked into Cattinalla's and had it all - Italian share plates, local Gippsland wines & impeccable service! Deanna and the crew she has are amazing! loved everything about this place! we would had stayed for dinner but they were fully booked - now that must say something!
Came for a glass of wine, and even though they were about to close, they still were kind enough to show us into their court out back on a lovely summers night!
Never thought this would be where I find the traditional Italian cooking. The staff really treat their customers with so much respect and the food is just like how nona used to cook.
Stopped in for lunch on my way through to Melbourne - friendly service, great coffee and a delicious risotto! Would definitely go there again.
Bianchetti GOLD! Salcicce e Polenta GOLD! The personality and confidence of the kitchen shining brightly in the dishes. Beautiful and attentive front of house. Highly recommended. :)

Dinner with Charm!. Stumbled across this cosy little spot just off the highway on our way through Traralgon. Had a beautiful dinner with my partner. Meals were lovely and not to overloaded with ingredients, but packed with flavour and let each dish speak for themselves. Will stop in again on way back through
Top quality. This is by far one of the most exquisite establishments I have ventured into, especially one of this calibre out of the immediate metropolitan area. Service was lovely, we were greeted with a gracious smile and promptly served! Unlike many restaurants/cafes in the area, the meals are meaningful. The owner created the menu based off her Mother-In-Law's home recipes, and she has done a splendid job at recreating these treasured recipes. The pasta is incredible, particularly the gnocchi which is made on site when you order! It was the perfect texture; smooth and melted in your mouth. If I were to recommend a place to eat or have coffee in Traralgon (and surrounding areas), I would not hesitate to say that Catinalla's is the place to go!
