This is our favourite restaurant in Cairns - it keeps drawing us back. We have just enjoyed the most wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. Food was exquisite; light; fresh; delicious. Lovely wines and world class service. Superb place. Probably the best in FNQ
My partner and I are visiting Cairns for the week from Melbourne and have been to laze 5 times already! Not because we didn't know where to eat but simply because it is fantastic.
Food is delicious. Every bite is worth, the Ribs are the best I had in my whole life. Simply perfect cooked, falling off the bone and juicy. Prawns were tender and the garlic sauce magnificent - full of flavor. Burgers are juicy, big and messy as they should be.
Dessert can't be skipped, even after this wholesome feast - Get yourself together and go for it. Decadent milkshakes, apple pie with salted caramel, cheesecake and unbelievable brownies are waiting for you.
Service is spot on - friendly and attentive and not pushy.
We will be craving it until we can come back to eat here again.
A friend decided we should try somewhere new, and we were not disappointed.
Food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The staff recommendations of the chicken rosti, the crocodile spring rolls, fresh salad and the waffle as a dessert hit the spot.
The rosti is a must have. So yummy. The waffle was perfect! Super crisp on the outside, light as a feather inside and so scrumptious!
One word “Amazing”, They serve traditional and international food which is pure and tasty. Hospitality with a capital “H”.

We arrived hungry and left feeling fully satisfied without the bloat. Flavour and texture in every bite. From the first bite to the last we were truly WOW’d. The thought that goes into the flavour combinations is exceptional and the presentation is beyond reproach. We had the crocodile crocodile rolls followed by one Chicken and one veggie Rosti as a main. Will come back for desserts. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent taste. Friendly and courteous staff. We stayed for dine-in. Quick serving. The fish was gloriously golden and crisp. The salad on the side was very flavorful. Desserts are not from this planet. OMG! Going to come back again for sure

You haven't "seen" Cairns unless you've paid a visit here. The staff are super welcoming and friendly and chat to you like you're old friends.
Went to Laze last Friday and it was perfect. Have been a number of times and this time took friends after promising them a great experience. They were not disappointed. The food was cooked to order and delicious and you'll be hard-pushed to find tastier elsewhere.
Can especially recommend the rostis, the pork ribs and the thunder milkshake. If I could've awarded 10 stars, I would.
When paying the bill one of the staff gave us all some coffee home made ice cream to try and it was delicious. What a lovely gesture.
I shall be returning at every opportunity. Highly recommend!
This popped up in my search for good food places in Cairns. It looked interesting, so I decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed at all. I'm so happy I did. Somehow I felt really at peace when I was there. They have perfect food options for everyone. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent and presented beautifully. Service was great. All in all, a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend Laze when in Cairns or Trinity Beach. Be warned that it's not a big place, but super charming with great food and service!
Absolutely loved this place. The food and atmosphere was great, with affordable prices. The staff were the most friendliest and helpful. Definitely will be back !!
Went last Wednesday with my girlfriend for the 1st time and have to say it was amazing.
Order 3 starters and all of them were great.
We loved the bread with Hummus. Then the coconut prawns and the chips with bacon.

For mains we got 2 burgers that were delicious.

Can’t wait to come back again and try the ribs as I love them.
Thanks to the staff that were really kind and really professional, specially the girl with long blond hair that we didn’t get her name. Special mention to her because service was 10 out of 10.
