House of Gabriel is very genteel, with rambling gardens and wisteria-covered alfresco areas overlooking the lazy river. Chef Lee has prepared individual seafood platters for us: Tasmanian oysters, Tweed prawns and crab, a Moreton Bay bug, smoked salmon, some Panko crumbed prawns and crumbed Mooloolaba whiting with chips and side salad, served with a glass of wine.
Amazing Food. I have just recently visited The House Of Gabriel, and can honestly say this has to be some of the most Amazing food I have tasted. I had the Slow briased pork belly with pea puree local prawns and red wine jus. Beatuiful, and was a pleasure to look at. Thank you, and I will be back with Family and Friends to show them how great this place is. Great Views as well, and a calm atmosphere. Awesome.
Great view and service, amazing flavours
A great venue. House of Gabriel has a stunning setting, with a large, covered dining deck overlooking the serene Tweed River.
Having enjoyed lunch there before, we recently took along a group of six. Everyone like the food - Vegetarians and carnivores alike. The service is good and their beef burger is just superb!
