Friendly manageress/cook extraordinare, great food (both veggie and Big breakfasts, which were very reasonably priced and great value), good cheap coffee, and cosy dining/reading area out the back, and outdoor garden area as well - nothing grand, more like shabby chic, and toilets out the back as well. 😀

Meals are huge and made with love, we have been twice and yet to finish a sandwich and crazy shake in one meal (and we have big appetites). Staff are happy and helpful, atmosphere is homely. Our new favourite place on the central coast.

Excellent food but under-staffed, therefore service is a bit slow. Has thousands of second-hand books (novels) for sale at $5 each, but they don't buy them back when you've finished reading them. Nice quiet place to read or work writing, as some customers do. Opens early, like 6am.
