My partner and I had lunch here yesterday and I can honestly say it was one of the yummiest lunches I've had. We both had the falafel salad which were generous in size, fresh ingredients, yummy combination f tastes and textures. Loved loved loved it
My skim cappuccino was a bit watery but nice and hot.
The service was very friendly and efficient.
I've raved about the place to everyone at work today
Second breakfast visit, which was equally as good as the first! Think this is my new favourite place! Food delicious, atmosphere great & staff fantastic!! Next time must do coffee and their delicious looking cakes & pastries! 10/10!!
Delicious food and very prompt service! We had the poached eyes with smoke salmon and the brekky burger. Will definately be returning again.
friendly staff with prompt service, the quality of both food and drink was great. i had a ham cheese tomato croissant as well as a juice and cappuccino. all of it was spot on. my wife also loved her beetroot juice and salad. we will definitely be back on our next trip to adelaide
Absolute fave is the blueberry & mascarpone pancakes! Yum! The place itself looks pretty cool too. Nice set up. Can get a bit busy at times.
Located in a heritage-listed building, Bricks and Stones lives up to its name. As expected, the place was buzzing on a Sunday. We were lucky that we came after a huge group of around 15 had finished their meal, otherwise I’m sure the wait would have drove me crazy as the barista was swarmed with orders the whole time. We had a bit of wait for our coffees, but luckily food came promptly thereafter.
Our skinny lattes were a bit weak, but overall decent. We did however enjoyed our meal very much. Crispy bacon and super delicious halloumi that was firm and slight springy, and robustly savoury in flavour. The falafel salad was a magnificent mix of pepitas, beetroot, pumpkin, hummus, avo and the surprising addition of dates. A bit heavy-handed with dressing in an otherwise great dish.
Despite the crowds, the staffs remained upbeat and cheery throughout, and this made the wait bearable.
My previous visit here was when it newly opened and had a limited menu with not many patrons. My oh my have things changed ! This place was bustling with activity and the menu has certainly expanded. Good sized meals ... The baked eggs were ok- could be more flavoursome. The pancakes were delicious ... Good coffee and great service .
Delish :) We came for a quick work lunch and I totally loved this place!! The staff were super friendly, our dishes came out quickly, the food tasted incredible, coffee was great and parking was made easy with the Unley shopping centre car park right across the road. Can't wait to go back..
Bricks and Stones is one of the newer cafes to join our list of favourite brunch haunts. Situated conveniently next to the Unley Shopping Centre also means plenty of parking. The interior is exactly as the name suggests with an eye catching feature mural in the corner. Guess where I sat. An array of scrumptious Abbott and Kinney patries were on display, tempting as they may be I left it. My eyes soon shifted to the cabinet where cakes, tarts and amazing panini sandwiches beckoned. I haven’t even looked at the menu yet! With all the discipline I could muster I sat down and browsed through the menu (not before seeing the specials blackboard). Surprisingly with all the rich temptations it was Greens and Grains that drew my attention.
Had a lovely cousin catch up here on Saturday morning after a early fitness session, first customer of the day and was greeted with smiling faces and great tunes playing! Service was great, good was delicious 👌🏽 we had the peas/avo/eggs and the briosh bun but on rye 👍🏽 nothing was too hard. Updated menu to what was online though so do be careful 😊
This café has a lot going for it. The breakfast menu is innovative, location great, and venue very cool. Bricks and Stones is also one of few good options open on Mondays (lift your game, Adelaide!).
I loved my burger, which I tweaked by ditching the bacon and adding a potato rosti. My dining buddy's pancakes were impressive, too.
I took my friend for a lunch, she was on a "good" day so recommended the felafel salad. The next half hour was interspersed with "oh my god this is sooo good". Even tho we had had enough half way through we couldn't stop eating until it was all finished. Yum oh!! Surroundings were lovely and rustic and staff very attentive. Not too noisy with tables spaced out. We are bringing all our friends next time.
The customer service here was exceptional. You can get a glass of wine or a cocktail as well. Nice, trendy outdoor area which is pet friendly. Inside also had a funky vibe and nice atmosphere. Highly recommend. Will definitely return.
My mushroom trio was delicious. Carrot cake was also one of the best I’ve had. It was unfortunate that we waited a long time for our food, otherwise this place deserves 5 stars.
Absolutely awesome. Super friendly staff, and instantly catering as soon as we walked in. The food was cooked to perfection, and the vibe of the place was great. Visit this place, you won't be disappointed.
Do yourself a favour, “All Day” eats and drinks here outdo expectations every time. Extensive brunch-come-mains cafe menu in an upscale style with serious house flair. Comfortable rustic setting inside and out, impeccable table service and coffee worth waking up for. Michael is just as charming and personable as it gets.
Happen to find this Cafe by chance on a Saturday afternoon it was open until 4pm unlike some of the other cafes around Unley. The food was amazing, tasty and fresh. I had the mushroom ragu with crispy enoki mushrooms and my boyfriend had the smoky chorizo with delicious potatoes! Coffee was great too! Fabulous!
Cannot rate this place more highly!
The food is always prompt service is excellent and food delicious!
We had the baked eggs with chilli and chorizo and smashed avocado with beetroot which was so tasty.
Great coffee and food. Really friendly staff and is a great place to meet and catch up with people.
What a lovely place and how gorgeous to see Ashleigh again. Spacious and airy interior with plenty of elbow room. Great service, which is becoming a rare commodity in Adelaide. Coffee on point. Baked eggs, photo, with chorizo and feta with honey was lovely. The toast was cold and too crunchy and not the ciabatta that’s on the menu.
Make sure you book.
