We had brunch at Perks Kitchen a while back when the Covid restrictions weren’t in place and everything was a little more normal - We ordered Pancakes w Ice cream, berries and Spanish, Tomato, Basil Gnocchi. The cafe was kind of hard to find because we didn’t really know our way around the Westfield Shopping centre but when we arrived there the staff were lovely and seated us outside pretty quickly. The environment I think was quiet, perfect place for a great catchup with friends. The food prices were standard for cafes in the area and the food was served timely. The pancakes were a little on the sweet side but still a filling meal. It was @kimberleyndinh first time eating Gnocchi and it was pretty tasty, minus the sauce being a little too creamy. Overall the cafe was a lovely experience and highly recommended for catchup brunch.
Perk’s Kitchen is one of the eateries in the outside restaurant section of Westfield Garden City, alongside the likes of PappaRich and Devon Cafe. We had walked past a number of times, but somehow hadn’t actually eaten there, although they have been open for a few years now. The well-signed exterior of Perk’s Kitchen.
Get the chicken sandwich. It's a regular go to when Perk's kitchen comes into the rotation. Just a simple selection of ingredients put together well.
