After lunching at 8 Street we wander 20 metres for a Coffee Hit! Staff here are experienced and our Cafe Latte is ready in 3 minutes. Hot, strong and full flavoured, we love the Coffee Hit blend. Thanks Guys!

A variety of cakes and snacks waiting for you. Freshly made. The coffee was average. The coffee was too cold. An easy going atmosphere that is good for families. The service was friendly and prompt. A good place for a quick coffee.

It's a very busy shopping centre, but you don't feel that once you are sitting down. The food was excellent and plentiful. The service was fast and all the staff were very friendly, with a smile and a quick chat. Would definitely go there again when in Brisbane!!

We stopped here today for coffee as there were GF options on their menu which suited us due to hubby having Coeliac Disease.  The coffee was made exactly as hubby likes it - flat white-half strength, something many places are incapable of achieving.  The food was absolutely delicious and although I ordered two GF options from the kids meals for hubby the young gentleman that served me had the foresight to warn me that the bacon is cooked on a hotplate that could have gluten contaminants - something I have never encountered anywhere before.  A huge thumbs up to the staff here, they know their food and are educated when it comes to food allergies and especially Coeliac issues.  The service was very friendly and everyone had a smile to share, we will be back again at some stage as there was nothing to fault - from service, staff and food - everything was perfect!!

Walked past and saw a lunch special for a burger, chips and coffee for $14. 90. Sooo reasonable I couldn't not stop.

Coffee was awesome really nice flavour.

Burger was delicious, brioche bun, fresh pickles, swiss cheese, tomato and lots of salad.

Would recommend.

We've been coming for a while and really like the old dishes but we LOVE the new menu. The addition of crispy skin salmon to the breakfast options is delicious.

On the two occasions I've popped in for a coffee the service has been very friendly and efficient. My fruit toast was nice and the coffee one of the best in the Westfield complex. I'll be back for another caffein fix soon.

Coffee Hit - Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. Building even more upon the previous refurbishment and expansion of Garden City Shopping Center, there has been an expansion from the tiny, basic food court on the lower level with plenty of a la carte dining options. These are various, and diverse and even share the dining space outside spilling onto "al fresco" walkways, or even are replicating backstreet laneways for dining experiences. When it comes to these new eateries, the cafes are basically open-plan.

While a couple of members of the party had an important doctor's appointment to attend, the rest of the gang went to get some breakfast while we waited. There was a bit of a toss up of what to go for, but since everyone was feeling like something savoury - and this was the general area we were in - this place was the go. Coffee Hit has done fairly well in the past, and seems to be doing coffee justice so it is good to see expansion on the place.

Inside is a combination of bare bones, and a homage to all things coffee. Water is self-service, and there is a pile of glasses plus a tap to fill them up. Ordering the food and drink orders is done at the counter and they give you a table number to take away once everything is brought and ready. They are fairly efficient and good working here, thus keeping an atmosphere of a cafe in tact.

In terms of what they have, particularly the Garden City location, it is fairly standard fare. There are the usual suspects when it comes to the breakfast menu, plus plenty of cakes and slices if only something small and sweet should suffice. For lunch, sandwiches are available plus plenty of hot meals - nothing really thematic or focused, but wholesome enough to tide a general audience over.

For coffee, I got the usual double shot cappuccino. One thing that is done really well is the coffee, when it was ordered strong they made it strong. The texture of the coffee was smooth, and it had a great body to it. As far as a coffee for breakfast goes, this does pretty well.

I was not feel like an awful lot, since I had had something already that morning. There were a couple of items that I was attempting to decide between, and after positive confirmation that their specialty waffle fries were being served at breakfast I got an order of those to share. The serving of them was enormous for a budget price, and they came with sides of aioli and chilli sauce. These fries were fantastic; the potato in the middle was soft and moreish, with a fantastically crispy crumb on the outside. Great commendation as well for managing to keep the shape of a waffle for each of them. They proved to be popular at the table.

I managed to nick a bite of the breakfy wrap, which had scrambled egg, bacon and tomato in the middle, plus a few components of the big, vegetarian breakfast: namely the spinach, black beans, and mushroom. These were all decent and good quality - particularly how well cooked the black beans were, which were almost like the frijole sides served around the place.

Before heading off, my brother-in-law felt like having another cup of coffee and was intrigued by the "cold drip" that they had on offer. Opting to get another cup of coffee, I shouted him it and got two - one black (for him) and one white (for me). This was a less dense, lighter option for coffee which was refreshing and had both elements of the milk flavour thrown in with a milder taste of coffee mixed with it. Every once in a while, it is good to change things up and try something different, and it was like that with the cold drip.

So, Coffee Hit is...... pretty decent as a place to eat. As the name should suggest the real star child is the coffee. This is a safe bet to go to, and it looks to not be going anywhere anytime soon.

Good quality coffee beans at reasonable prices! We have bought beans from them a few times, and they have all been very fresh and great for espresso machines. The latte I had in the store was really nice too. They generously give you a free coffee every time you buy a bag of beans from them. They can be a bit busy on weekends, but I'd highly recommend the coffees here if you are in the vicinity. Would love to come back again to try their breakfast.

Delightful coffee shop! Nice range of food (especially breakfast!) and juices. Coffee is really good. I like my coffee strong so tend to have a double shot for a regular size latte. The colour and taste comes out just right. Staff are always friendly.

They have 2 machine with La marzocco and 3 mmmm grinder so yes. I like these branches. It could be one of the best options in downstairs of garden city. it taste good but 6$ for large size of coffee, 3 shots?.. hmmm.. 5.5 is more reasonable.
