Pretty much my perfect pub. Beautiful old building, really friendly staff, good crowd, and one of the best pub menus around. I ate here 3 times and every meal was delicious. Being a 30 second walk from the caravan park was icing on the cake. Love it. I’ll be back.

Fantastic meal and atmosphere. I had the brains and vegetables. These were cooked to perfection just as my mother made them, delicious and creamy. Vegetables and mash were also cooked well. The old pub atmosphere here is a relaxing backdrop to the storm and tempest happening outside. This pub has been tastefully restored while retaining its old charm. Lovely, we will be back. Take-away food options in Urunga today 13th June were very slim. The only place you could get food was the Ocean View Hotel... They were doing lots of dine-in and heaps of Take- aways. There was a fairly long wait,but the food was exceptional and the staff in the kitchen and in the ordering area were polite and exceptional under pressure. Well done 😊 Will go in for a dine in meal next time.. lovely classic pub.
