Absolutely delicious cheese boards, had a cheese toasty with truffle and OMG mouth watering. The coffee was to die for as well. Had to hold back from trying the sweets but they all looked delicious.
A cheese lovers dream. Sat in the downstairs cellar and devoured their ploughmans platter full of local produce and washed down with a local wine. Reasonably priced and friendly staff
Good selection of cheeses with some at a good level of maturity. We had a platter with a truly massive piece of bree, wholemeal biscuits and quince jam for just $10.50. Coffee was excellent.
Great free tastings. We ordered two platters, they were fantastic but with the cheese platter you had a choice of five cheeses. We did not realise we picked the same cheeses as the ploughmans, it would of been great if this was pointed out on ordering
As a spare of the moment decision my friend and i decided to have a afternoon drink. With a fantastic view over the main street of Hahndorf. We enjoyed our wine and platter which came out impeccably fast. The customer service was fantastic, aswell as the price a great place to relax and enjoy.
Lovely array of local cheeses and small goods all made locally in the Adelaide Hills and surrounds. We promptly drove back to our AirBnB to prepare our platter for dinner. Everything was delicious and the recommendations from the lovely lady that served us were right on point.
We came in to try the fondue.
It was lovely. I've had this in Switzerland and it was really good here. Not quite as good as Switzerland but really tasty.
Great value for money! It's a nice little corner store with a cow outside the front of shop.
Staff had knowledge about cheese.
Great cheese, loads to choose from. Nice atmosphere
Good service.
Overall a great experience! One of the highlights of Hahndorf!
We did a bit of cheese tasting here and sampled various cheese delights - quite enjoyable as I do like my cheeses.
We sampled various cheddars, camemberts, bries and other cheeses and came away with a little stash for ourselves.
They also sell dips, spreads and every other accompaniment to cheese you might need.
The cafe seems to be run well with cakes and other dishes available.
Gorgeous little cheese shop with an excellent variety of things to make a delicious cheese board or grazing platter! The staff very helpful with my meandering, wishy washy desire to try everything and find the perfect road trip snacks! I love that they had a bit of a mix of local and imported cheese, not to mention, terrines, dips, crackers, fruit pastes, dried fruits, cheese knives and whatever else you need in your cheese life. My only gripe is that you cant buy cheese in smaller slice lots or a takeway cheese pack, perfect for a quick picnic lunch!
