A group of 4 of us came here for lunch, we had a mix of meals.
The two chicken burgers we got were amazing, full of flavour and cooked well.
My partner had the Bella Toastie which she loved, but it was very small, looked like she got the end of the loaf which was a bit dissapointing
Also got one of there chicken bowls but the friend that ordered that was pretty unsatisfied for the price. He found it to be quite bland. But maybe it just wasn't for him.
All in all great little spot right by the sea (once you wall over the mound) and also right next to some beach volleyball courts aka giant sandpit for kids.
Pumpkin bread very yummy, black vinegar plus sun dry tomato for dressing, a bit too sour. Egg bacon roll was ok. Have several tables outside, good view. Friendly service, quite nice over all.
Love this small cafe along the beach. Coffee here is good 👍🏻. Simple food but delicious. Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
You can’t beat a fresh bacon and egg roll plus a coffee. Great roll, good amount of relish on there. Nice streaky bacon and a perfectly cooked egg. Coffee is also great, coming out fast and nice and hot. Will be back again to try other options on the menu but I’m sure I won’t be disappointed
Gorgeous food and really friendly staff ! We went to Qahwa with a large group booking for a birthday last weekend, and we had the best time. Katie and the team put on an incredible spread of vegetarian/vegan food for us, and it was delicious! The coffee is also really good. The staff were super accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect, just right at the beach. Qahwa is also super kid friendly. Definitely recommend!
Beautiful location and so chilled. Perfect place to play some volleyball and have some brunch. They are one of few restaurants that serve brunch after 11.
The staff are super friendly and attentive, but they got the order wrong twice
1. We ordered smashed mint avocado but was served with cutavocado instead.
2. Since I'm pregnant I wanted fried eggs welldone, we paid $5 extra to redo the eggs bit we ended up getting almost the same.
However since the the food was great and flavorful and the overall experience was great we didn't make a fuss.
In some ways the highlight of our trip to the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula was the incredible vegan strawberry and cherry cake we enjoyed here.
We have been back in Melbourne for close to 3 weeks and we still fantasise about this cake.
This is a mayday call in the hope the owners will read this and will post the recipe!

Long wait times for two coffees with regular requests (caramel latte + 1 sugar and latte and two slices)
Seeing as many food items ordered after us flew out to seated patrons...
But it was beautiful coffee.
My only problem was the wait time. Otherwise awesome.
