Fresh, delicious food. Moderately priced menu. Nice rustic decor. Winning feature of this cafe is the friendly and attentive staff. As a regular they really make every visit enjoyable, and the owners in particular show a genuine interest in making sure you're having a great day. Have had only a very few occasions where an order was entered wrong and have had it made up to me twofold. Love this place.
The best coffee in Wahroonga. Friendly staff. Great pizzas and desserts are amazing. Love this place. Only dissapointment is they are closed Mondays.
Sir And Mlady Dine Out

Nestled in the Fox Valley part of Wahroonga sits Karoo & Co. It’s been around for a while now, slowly building its reach and reputation. In fact, it’s done so well at both that they’ve also opened another popular venue in nearby St. Ives. Right now they’re doing take away and home delivery here in Wahroonga but when they resume dine-in services it’s worth having it on your list. They do quite a variety of dishes but we were after a couple of their famous wood-fired pizza’s.
If I could live here, I would (although being a frequent customer the staff probably think I am trying to live there)! Food is always delightful, coffee is always delicious, service is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is wonderful. A true hidden gem of the North Shore.
4/5 was an enticing factor to visit this place; what we ordered was good, not great, the chips interesting in a good way, burger was good. Coffee was great. Atmosphere was good for small cafe. The service was excellent.
Visiting from out of town, Karoo and co came highly recommended. We opted for the Tandoori, Quattro Formaggio and their own "Meatlovers" style pizza.
In a word, fantastic! A delicious soft, thin base with generous(and tasty!) toppings. This little highlight will definitely be missed when we head back to NZ. If you are lucky enough to live locally, give it a go!
A local gem in Wahroonga. Their menu is diverse and their food is amazing. The atmosphere is great for lunches with friends and the service is fast and pleasant.
Such a great vibe on a Sunday , the place is decorated well and gives a good vibe . Coffee was great which should be a standard these days, the big breakfast comes with boerewors and it was a tasty addition , enjoyed the breakfast , service was a little slow but food made up for it . We will def be back !
Nice authentic wood fired pizza. Would be great if they do pizza for lunch too. The coffee is average, but very busy on weekends for brunch.
I was in need of a break after driving back from the Hunter. The weather was horrible, there were waterfalls flowing onto the F3. We had intended to stop in at the butchers block, but unfortunately it is not open on Sundays. Thankfully we used Zomato to help us find an alternative. Karoo & Co was the pick for lunch, it had some good reviews and a good rating. The restaurant had a rustic feel with exposed brick and wooden furniture. We recieved good service, they had an I-phone charger and allowed my friend to use it.
The menu was extensive with an Italian and South Afican influence. Their all day breakfast menu included their versions of the usual breakfast options including a big breakfast, french toast, granola and so on. The lunch menu had burgers, salads and pasta's available.
I ordered from specials board, a South African inspired meal called a bobotie. This was something new to me and it was a delicious. It consisted of a mildly curry spiced mince with egg and raisins, I suppose a South African type of meat loaf and it was served on a bed of rice. It was accompanied by a choice of mint yogurt and a fresh salsa of tomato, corn, spanish onion and corriander or chutney and banana. I chose the mint yogurt and salsa, which added more flavour to this dish. I was half way through the meal and had finished the salsa and mint yogurt. The waiter, a South African guy insisted I also try the other option of chutney and banana. I am very thankful that he did, as my initial thoughts were; chutney and banana with a curry spiced meat loaf?????
But suprisingly enough the flavours worked, the chutney packed a flavoursome punch it was sweet, tangy and spicy. The banana mellowed and tied all of the flavours together. It was like I ate 2 completely different meals for lunch, through the use of different accompaniments. I also had a nice cold brew coffee with milk and maple syrup. I will definitely return if I am in the area to sample more of the menu
Great coffee, one gets a lovely feeling with the aura inside the restaurant, the salad was absolutely tasty I would recommend the butternut pumpkin salad with beef for all.
The guys behind the counter made everyone feel special as the walked in
Well done
✔️✅👌
I was in Melbourne before, always loved Lyons Street for its pizza. Haven't tried many pizzas in Sydney yet, but Karoo is the best! Love the Hawaiian and Supreme pizza! Also, don't ever miss their starters!! So lucky to live nearby~
Very unassuming in it's location but this hidden little secret is a must visit. The food is just sensational. Flavoursome and fresh and an absolute treat to the taste buds. The service was friendly and helpful the only negative I would have to add is the heating was not great and most diners were required to still keep jackets on in this cold climate. Still does not takeaway my 5 star review as we would definitely visit again.
Amazing, fresh and high quality food! The corn fritters were incredible and light, the butter nut salad with pulled lamb was so delicious.
Definitely recommend for anyone looking for great coffee and great food in Wahroonga!
Had a power outage while dining here, and the staff where great. Despite the fact that the only light came from a security light and the wood fired oven, the staff continued to take orders and serve meals. They are fantastic. And the pizzas we ordered were great. Well worth a visit.
my partner and I come here every Sunday for coffee and we absolutely love it here! super friendly staff, wonderful coffee and the food is amazing!! we recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a local brunch spot 👌 💕☺️
Fantastic wood fired pizza!
We have been here multiple times and the pizza is always the highlight, the crust is perfect, toppings are delicious and cooking is consistently good.
We came on a very busy Saturday night and even though they had just lost a waitperson the manager/owner handled things really well. Licensed and BYO (only during the week) the wine list is very fair value. Not cheap but the pizza is absolutely worth it and the Nutella dessert pizza is a must.
Did I mention the amazing pizza? 🤓
It was a lovely meal. The two of us had the prosciutto pizza and the beef ragu pasta. The charcoal oven baked pizza was top notch, the beef ragu pasta was one of the best I had. The beef was soft and tender. To top it all it has a friendly and helpful manager, the cosy service in a winter evening makes the meal ever more enjoyable. Well done!
I visited this restaurant on Friday and Saturday evening Friday I ordered a Margherita and received a different pizza. I’m glad I did !! Was delicious and generous with toppings ☺️ Had salami with olives 🫒 and sliced 🌶 chilli very mild type.
Saturday I went back to try their Margherita was also very delicious base was excellent true artistry in the recipe design something is different about the base but amazing and innovative. Tops and cheese fantastic well done !
