This was a nice little find in Walpole. Service was great. It was very busy. The food came out quite quickly. Vindaloo chicken was different.. rather than braised in a sauce, it was stir fried. It could have been more spicy. Toasties were great as was the beef burger. Nice little stop
Friendly staff and a huge variety of food. Best thing is that they're almost always open when everything else around is closed. If you're travelling through it's a great place to stop by for food and great phone reception.
We vote this the best ribs ever!!! Soft, juicy, meat-fall-off-the-bones and delightful sauce and perfectly seasoned. We came back twice just for the ribs. The salad was very fresh and a very generous portion to our immense happiness! The fries were yummy too! Family business. Great work ethics, hardworking. Busy on the weekend dinner service. Absolutely lovely and comfortable set up. We wish you safe travel home soon, and look forward to visiting your cafe again in the near future.
we order beef Mongolian and chicken Thai green curry good for my dinner on Sunday,if you are looking for Asian food and western food I can recommend to everybody, Staff are friendly
Friendly staff with dry humour. Food is good, more like a stir fry with big chunks of garlic, location is fairly central to where we were staying. I had Rogan Josh and my partner had the Butter Chicken. Would definitely come again.
After staying in Walpole for 4 nights this cafe has been our go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Every dish is unique, flavoursome and very affordable.
The staff have a great knowledge of beers, wines and pairing.
The coffee is spot on also!!

We were on a cycling trip and based in Walpole a couple of days. We very much enjoyed the Magic Cafe for breakfast and dinner plus they made our lunch packs. Opens 9am. We enjoyed the dry humour of the host.
This place was one of the few restaurants available to eat dinner while we staying in Walpole and I'm so glad it was... Best ribs I've ever had!!
The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home, the meals were even served on Filipino time. But don't let that stop you, they are definitely worth the wait!
If I could give 10 stars I would, can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favour and check these guys out while you're in town!
Triple decker toasted sandwich and chips was what I needed on my drive through. Oh, and a great strong iced latte too.
Friendly service and a massive, diverse menu.
