Watermarc did the food at a recent wedding I photographed for 130 guest and OMG!! The food, service and professionalism was incredible. The meal was so delicious and everyone was raving about how amazing their meals were too. I have done many weddings but never have I seen such a smooth and well run kitchen, especially operating remotely! I can't wait to visit for another meal as I am still thinking about the delicious chicken I ate :) Amazing!
I found this place by chance on google due to the highest reviews for restaurants in Wangaratta and it had the highest reviews for good reason.

Great value for money and lovely service. We ordered a bottle of wine (Leeuwin estate) 2 cocktails, dozen oysters (Merimbula oysters mind you 🤤) 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 desserts for under $300 and it was worth every dollar …
The staff are so engaging with their customers and explain the menu and food so well.

What a wonderful surprise. We haven’t been there for years and it was top class. I had pork belly - 3 pieces and salad. Enough as it is so rich. My husband had spaghetti marinara and he said it was the best he had had. Both of us had ice cream but I had the, espresso and it too was superb. It was a very hot night so the red wine could have been chilled just a little. We will be back.
Fantastic experience here with my wife on her 50th birthday. Perfectly cooked Steak and Lamb Shoulder followed by a meringue and Lemon Curd dessert. Friendly and obliging staff, reasonable pricing made for a lovely night out.

I took my sister and her husband there. I had the homemade gnocchi with oyster mushrooms. (one of the two main vegetarian options). Easily the best gnocchi I have eaten in my life. My sister and her husband loved their meals too.
I highly recommend Watermarc, the food is prepared with love and skill. I will eat here again next time I visit Wangaratta.
The food was excellent, the seafood pasta so tasty and rich with mussels, prawns and scallops. The lamb shoulder was tender and cooked perfectly with a perfect accompaniment of hummus and eggplant. The staff were attentive and very helpful. One of the best restaurants we have been too.
MUST TRY SCALLOP AND PARMESAN BREAD!! Literally one of the best I’ve had ever!!
