Wonderful service here! The owner is lovely and they seem to take great pride in providing good service and quality food. Had the corn and zucchini fritters with smoked salmon, was delicious! Also AMAZING home cut wedges with skin on. Definitely a great place to eat in Warrandyte.

This cafe has had many makeovers but it seems to have found its style and settled into the Warrandyte dining culture perfectly. Located nicely in the centre of town only 100 metres from The Yarra River, Cocoa Moon continually reinvents the menu to keep it interesting. I’ve found the breakfast (scrambled eggs with all the side dishes) to be generous in portion size and big in taste.
The new decor gives it an inner city funkiness about it with genuine warmth and style.
The menu is good with plenty of choices. Staff are great and the owners hands on.
You can eat indoors or out. Wheelchair accessible. Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and strollers can fit inside but would be a little tight. Parking across the road or up the side streets is pretty good.
Favourite place for a good hearty hot chocolate!! Been back to Cocoa Moon Cafe every time we visit Warrandyte, just for the hot chocolate. Beautiful setting along the main rd and Yarra river. Good service with outdoor seating and a dog friendly place.
During a family outing in Warrandyte, we walked by this cafe. My nephews were really hungry so we just went in. The dishes were surprisingly good and the service is friendly and prompt.
From memory, we had a Tunisian Chakchouka, a salmon omelette, a beef burger and a loaded nachos. Every dish was well presented and delicious. The chocolate milk shake and cafe latte were great too. Everyone was full and happy.
When we visited this cafe it was fairly busy, but that didn't negatively affect the service in any way. The staff were really friendly, making sure to check that we were happy with everything. The coffee was good, as was the food. I had the smoked salmon omelette which was a really satisfying meal. The toast was lovely and the inside of the omelette was melange of deliciousness. Overall, a great place!
My favorite place for brekkie in Warandyte. Simple but varied food choices, awesome coffee, lovely staff. Also fantastic for GF options- they use nice bread and are very accommodating even in menu items not normally gluten free. Decor is gorgeous. Great spot to sit on a nice morning
I loved this cafe! Unfortunately I didn’t buy any food, only milkshakes. But the milkshakes were delicious, and it was the best chocolate milkshake I’ve ever tasted! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the overall feel of the cafe was very happy, positive, relaxed and vibrant! Will be going back here soon!
Food was great! Lots of breakfast options and it arrived quick and delicious. Coffee quality has impacted the score, it just tasted weird. Staff were friendly and the feel of the place was warm & cosy.

I had a breakfast sandwich thing which was exceptional. It was also a massive portion that I couldn't finish. Lovely atmosphere inside and out, and though I didn't try any there was a lot of cakes there if you have a sweet tooth.
Just visited Cocoa Moon Cafe for lunch and will definitely be back & recommend this lovely rustic style cafe to all! We had a party of 6 and everyone ordered something different & everyone’s meal was beautifully presented and delicious from all accounts. The coffee was lovely too! We had great service and couldn’t find fault with anything!
Coffee is really good. Food was delicious but the portions so tiny, for the price we paid I would really add a bit more (we can salmon stack). We have also waited for food for a while but the place itself is really nice
Brought my kids here on the school holidays, and they made them feel special. At that point, nothing else matters. Awesome customer service, great food. Love this place.
Wow, a hidden gem I had never been to. Meals were amazing and quick. Mash avocado was delicious. Good price's, lovely staff. Will be back.
