Found at his little gem of a place for tea. Amazing tasting food. On second night of opening staff very friendly, seems well organised and really well priced. Highly recommend.
Good menu and service, delicious cooking, nice comfortable seating and ambience. Saki is available to have with your meal, I recommend this for any time of day!
A special dinner for a special night with perfect food and ambience! Absolutely everything about this restaurant is wonderful. We straight up went with every suggestion our serving lady made and not one dish was any less amazing than the other! Definitely many more visits to this place.

It is hard to find an authentic Japanese family restaurant but Hanabishi was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was great and the menu has a huge variety of Japanese food without the pretentiousness. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This was a wonderful place to stop in for lunch. Tge staff are friendly, the curry don was excellent and full of flavour and the classic ramen was perfectly balanced in flavour and toppings. The sake was beautiful and everything well presented. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in authentic Japanese food.
Went in for dinner after a long day and service was great. Ordered a couple of dishes to share and i feel the portion could be bigger for the price.

We came across this restaurant when we were doing a road trip in Warrnambool.
We were scrolling online and found this restaurant had so many good reviews. Coming from melbourne and had tried omakase before, we were not sure what to expect before dining here.
We had the omakase set, $78 per person. Course after course, the dishes blew our mind, and exceeded our expectations. There was so much care and detail put into each dish, which we really appreciate. Our stand out dishes for the night were dobinmushi, torched mentaiko scallops, ebi mayo, zucchini skewers and Ume jelly.
The chef has really done so well with all the dishes. No wonder it was quite packed for a weekday, luckily we booked a table beforehand.
If you have not been here yet, it is definitely recommended when you are in Warrnambool. It is truly a local gem.
I’ve been to a lot of great Japanese restaurants and Izakaya has to be one of the best I’ve been to. Great service and food. Highly recommend the Sukiyaki!
We were seated right in front by the bar so could see right into the kitchen. The head chef runs a tightly run ship and you can tell as the food comes out super fast. Not only that, but every single dish we tried was flavourful, balanced, and melts in your mouth.

We tried 8 dishes and each was exceptional, fresh and super delicious. We will definitely make this restaurant a regular when in town. This restaurant is world class with a relaxed atmosphere and lots of Japanese drinks. Highly recommended.
