Went in for dinner after a long day and service was great. Ordered a couple of dishes to share and i feel the portion could be bigger for the price.
Food was great. The seafood pancake is some thing different from other Japanese restaurant.
The takoyaki and the potato croquette were nice, but the ramen was a bit of a let down for me... the meat was tough and dry, the broth lacked flavour. But my partner had the chicken katsu curry and said it was good.
We came across this restaurant when we were doing a road trip in Warrnambool.
We were scrolling online and found this restaurant had so many good reviews. Coming from melbourne and had tried omakase before, we were not sure what to expect before dining here.
We had the omakase set, $78 per person.
Came in for dinner and it took the staff around 20 min to bring a menu to my table.
The chicken karaage was not the best but the pulled pork don was Ok. A bit pricey and a lot of dishes were not available & which Japanese restaurant only serves ramen for lunch??
I’ve been to a lot of great Japanese restaurants and Izakaya has to be one of the best I’ve been to. Great service and food. Highly recommend the Sukiyaki!
Food is actually quite nice but the service was very average, waiters had no idea what was happening
We were seated right in front by the bar so could see right into the kitchen. The head chef runs a tightly run ship and you can tell as the food comes out super fast. Not only that, but every single dish we tried was flavourful, balanced, and melts in your mouth.

We tried 8 dishes and each was exceptional, fresh and super delicious. We will definitely make this restaurant a regular when in town. This restaurant is world class with a relaxed atmosphere and lots of Japanese drinks. Highly recommended.
