This place is about the best eatery in town - it just doesn't do dinner. My hubby & I usually have lunch on the way through Warwick - he has the Works burger - just about stuffed by the end but soooo yummy. I have the seafood basket - cooked just right. The service is great, & the cookies & slices are to die for'. I always buy a selection of the sweets to take home with us - one time hubby does not complain about the cost. The selection of other products are top of the range as well.
The only place to eat in Warwick.. Can't recommend Cafe Jacqui's enough. Nicest owners and best food. They always have an amazing selection of entirely homemade cookies, slices, cakes and more. Great coffee and great food at great prices. Its really the only place to eat in Warwick!
Best service on the New England Highway! Good coffee, good food, good prices and a nice cool place to sit for lunch. Some soft furnishings would help to quieten the noise levels, though this does not necessarily detract from the overall experience!
Great food, service and all round experience.
Driving over two hours was worth it on a Saturday to enjoy the Seafood Basket and The Works burger. Good coffee too. Definitely try this place out!
Don’t drive by this gem. The absolute best cakes, slices, biscuits, cheese cakes all home made - like my Mum used to make so many years ago. I always make time to stop here when driving through Warwick. Savoury dishes are good too, it’s just that it is so rare to find good home made cakes in coffee shops these day that I have to give Cafe Jacqui a 10 out of 10. They also stock all the gourmet goodies of sauces, jams, flavoured vinegars, relishes etc from the Bramble Patch which is an added bonus.
Delicious, fresh and excellent value.
Breakfast. Myself and a friend came to this great cafe two mornings in a row for our breakfast which is served till 11:30am. Wonderful friendly service and a large selection of cakes and slices. We tried the eggs Benedict, brekky wrap and scrambled eggs and salmon all of which were served fast, fresh, and hot.
Cafe Jacqui's is a professional, spacious, well-presented establishment.
Service was prompt and friendly, with particular effort made by Jacqui herself to mingle and engage her patrons.
My wife and I both selected a salad for lunch, me opting for the smoked salmon salad while she chose the sweet potato salad (with optional added chicken). A flat white and pot of Earl Grey were ordered as well.
Both meals were great; decent portions, tasty and fresh. My smoked salmon salad was peculiarly topped with honey mustard dressing, something I imagined would complement chicken rather than fish. Surprisingly, it worked well and added depth and variety to the total package.
Our only issue with the lunch order was the side serve of sweet potato chips + aioli we requested. It's specifically listed on the menu at a set price yet we were charged close to $4 more when paying. When asked why, we were given an explanation about serving size, extra aioli to accommodate two people, etc., none of which was mentioned to us when ordering, nor was anything of the sort stated on the menu. However, credit where credit is due; Jacqui went above and beyond to rectify the situation and, within a short time frame, we were at peace and back to enjoying our meals.
Dessert consisted of yoghurt, lemon and (?)berry cake, and a slice of hazelnut and caramel tart. Both were really tasty and the perfect way to end proceedings. The former was deliciously moist, while the latter was smoky and rich.
Overall, Cafe Jacqui's is an inviting establishment, offering excellent quality food and drinks at affordable prices, ably supported by efficient and pleasant staff. I have no doubt we'll return when next in Warwick.
Jackie’s is a great place for Breakfast, lunch, coffee. The team are always friendly and welcoming. Food is great and the range of sauces and other items to buy and take home is amazing.
I love the cookies, keep up the great work all, awesome place
Excellent stop for great coffee (double shot lattes), snacks and clean toilets 👍👍
The specialty doughnuts here on Thursdays are off the chart amazing! So soft and always super fun, delicious flavours! $6 each - so city prices for the country - but has it stopped me from buying them on multiple occasions and renaming Thursday, ‘Doughnut Day’? No, no it has not. Do yourself a favour and get down there next Thursday!
Havent been to cafe jacqui's for decades. Definitely see why its still popular
