Alder Inn’s menu is designed to be shared with a mix of Bites, Bao, Salads, Mains, Rice and Desserts. There is a wide variety of flavours and the dishes are generous serves, which makes it easy to share a number of items across the menu.
My favourite dish was the American Style Fried Chicken Bao which was super crispy, with good flavour in the batter and came doused in maple sriracha mayo. The black pepper sauce on the Wok Fried Wagyu Beef was addictive and the cubes of beef deliciously tender. I also loved the crumb on the Popcorn Prawns which was topped with a honey glaze & sesame seeds and served on a little salad that cut the sweetness of the prawns. I also really liked the cocktails which had some unique ingredients like lavender in the mix.

Love the vibe of this place. The food was just as delicious. We got all the baos except the vegetarian one and the bun was soft and fluffy as you would want it. The spicy fried rice was full of flavour and the wok fried wagyu was very flavoursome too with the black pepper seasoning being at the right level and the meat was also tender. The green harvest is a must try! A delicious vegetable dish and my favourite for the night. Not many flaws of the dishes but as a new restaurant they have executed all dishes quite well. Oh and their deep fried ice cream is a must!! Their milk tea pannacotta was a little too watery but the flavour was definitely there. A great joint to come with your friends as there are many share plate options and snacks to nibble at!
Came as a guest. Alder Inn has a variety of food items to try. Wok fried Wagyu Beef,I liked the black pepper sauce and the fact the Wagyu itself was not chewy or too tough. If you want something more a snack they have plenty of bao options. Also the milk tea and lychee ice tea really hit the spot
