We really enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. The service by the wait staff was impeccable. They were very attentive and friendly. The dishes that we chose were fresh tasting and delicious. I especially loved the seafood tender rice soup bowl. The seafood and rice was cooked perfectly and the soup was perfectly seasoned. It also had a balance of textures. I would come back for this dish alone. Meals were large portion sizes and very reasonably priced. We will be returning ( ◠‿◠ )
Alder Inn at Wentworth Point brings much appeal to the food scene in the area. The Asian fusion blend brings plenty of creativity to already popular dishes giving them new flavour profiles and mixing interesting ingredients. The wok fried black pepper prawns, octopus salad and baos are notable mentions, the size of the baos is impressive, and boasting a very reasonable price between $6-$9 they are amazing value for money. Their selection of desserts is also a great way to finish the meal, deep fried ice cream is always a winner in my books and theirs did not disappoint. Highly recommend visiting Alder Inn when in the area.
Alder Inn’s menu is designed to be shared with a mix of Bites, Bao, Salads, Mains, Rice and Desserts. There is a wide variety of flavours and the dishes are generous serves, which makes it easy to share a number of items across the menu. My favourite dish was the American Style Fried Chicken Bao which was super crispy, with good flavour in the batter and came doused in maple sriracha mayo. The black pepper sauce on the Wok Fried Wagyu Beef was addictive and the cubes of beef deliciously tender. I also loved the crumb on the Popcorn Prawns which was topped with a honey glaze & sesame seeds and served on a little salad that cut the sweetness of the prawns. I also really liked the cocktails which had some unique ingredients like lavender in the mix.
