Alder Inn’s menu is designed to be shared with a mix of Bites, Bao, Salads, Mains, Rice and Desserts. There is a wide variety of flavours and the dishes are generous serves, which makes it easy to share a number of items across the menu.
My favourite dish was the American Style Fried Chicken Bao which was super crispy, with good flavour in the batter and came doused in maple sriracha mayo. The black pepper sauce on the Wok Fried Wagyu Beef was addictive and the cubes of beef deliciously tender. I also loved the crumb on the Popcorn Prawns which was topped with a honey glaze & sesame seeds and served on a little salad that cut the sweetness of the prawns. I also really liked the cocktails which had some unique ingredients like lavender in the mix.

Love the vibe of this place. The food was just as delicious. We got all the baos except the vegetarian one and the bun was soft and fluffy as you would want it. The spicy fried rice was full of flavour and the wok fried wagyu was very flavoursome too with the black pepper seasoning being at the right level and the meat was also tender. The green harvest is a must try! A delicious vegetable dish and my favourite for the night. Not many flaws of the dishes but as a new restaurant they have executed all dishes quite well. Oh and their deep fried ice cream is a must!! Their milk tea pannacotta was a little too watery but the flavour was definitely there. A great joint to come with your friends as there are many share plate options and snacks to nibble at!
Came as a guest. Alder Inn has a variety of food items to try. Wok fried Wagyu Beef,I liked the black pepper sauce and the fact the Wagyu itself was not chewy or too tough. If you want something more a snack they have plenty of bao options. Also the milk tea and lychee ice tea really hit the spot
Very tasty food. A great little local gem and a great addition to the neighbourhood. The menu change really hits the nail on the head for what is missing in the local area! Delicious food for reasonable prices!
Delicious food and drinks, super well priced and AMAZING service. Will be back again!!!
Alder Inn at Wentworth Point brings much appeal to the food scene in the area. The Asian fusion blend brings plenty of creativity to already popular dishes giving them new flavour profiles and mixing interesting ingredients. The wok fried black pepper prawns, octopus salad and baos are notable mentions, the size of the baos is impressive, and boasting a very reasonable price between $6-$9 they are amazing value for money. Their selection of desserts is also a great way to finish the meal, deep fried ice cream is always a winner in my books and theirs did not disappoint. Highly recommend visiting Alder Inn when in the area.
An absolute gem at Wentworth Point. Perfect for families lunching on the weekends. Loved the range of Asian fusion menu options including their dessert range. The Popcorn Prawn and fried ice cream were my favourite dishes!
Located in the heart of Wentworth Point, this trendy place serves good asian fusion food with a nice ambience.
A cozy place for dining at Wentworth Point. Friendly staff and we like all the meal we had. The mocktail is quick nice and refreshing, will come back for other meal.
It taste very good especially the pasta, That is why I want to recommend this restaurant. Also , The milkshake is very attracitve and I will come here next time.
Nice food and also good service.Had a very good date with my girl friend here.Highly reccomend!!!
We had a really good lunch there! Delicious food and friendly staff! Highly recommended! I will for sure to go to visit again!
Creative Asian fusion restaurant serving food in a beautiful presentation. Not only savory Chinese dishes like stir fry prawns and decent dishes like wagyu steak are available here, but also a range of vegan and healthy dishes are served here. Bubble tea here is a bonus and remember to try it out!
Great fusion dishes using super fresh seafood and produce. The flavours were on point and the price was fairly affordable. I also like how this place serves a pretty good selection of wine too. I would see this place as a family gathering diner as well as a presentable corner store for any business meetings.
p.s. you gotta try their giant prawns which was probably my favourite so far
Tucked in a corner by Waterways Street, Alder Inn is a lovely restaurant that serves Chinese and fusion dishes you don’t want to miss. Yes I’ve tried quite a few dishes and still wanted more.
Spring garden - pumpkin puree, fregola, saute baby king oyster mushrooms and vegetables, mushrooms herbs
This salad was simply beautiful. All the details were done right and it was full of different flavours even though it’s a vegetarian item.
Seafood tender rice - king prawn, torched scallop, grilled calamari, rice, chicken broth, herbs
As a seafood lover, I enjoyed this very much. The rice itself is yummy but the crispy rice and torched scallop were nice touches that brought the dish even more textures.
Wok fried black pepper prawn - king prawn, capsicum, home made Black pepper sauce
Probably my favourite item as the prawns were plump and bouncy while the sauce was well seasoned and peppery.
Wagyu steak, lemon & ginger butter with salad - MB6+ wagyu rump, lemon and ginger butter
This is another crowd pleaser of the meal. The steak might look a bit overcooked but it’s actually a sous vide one. It was really tender and beefy on itself, and the lemon ginger butter made it more aromatic.
Black sesame mousse w home made banana icecream, crumble, orange, edible flower and lemon zest
This dessert looked more like from a hotel or fine dining restaurant! The banana ice cream was velvety smooth and the sweetness was balanced out by the crumble and fresh orange pieces. Definitely a great ending to the meal.
second visit still felt amazed by Alder inn , just lovely dishes !
We just ordered some simple comfort food this time but still the taste is just unique and amazing, never fail to suprise, feel lot more better after long day of work , quiet and calm vibes , this made a good night 💜
【「Green Heaven」】
【「Grilled lamb loin chop」】
Pick

So glad I finally made it here. I had heard mixed reviews, however the food I had was sensational. Fresh, fast, super tasty and instagramable. Not to mention very inexpensive. Great place to go for mid week dinner - spent less than $70 for two people. Will be back for sure!
This restaurant has elegant vibes with beautiful East meets West decor throughout. With modern Asian fusion food on offer, expect the unexpected when you dine there!
Every dish is sophisticated and plated beautifully. It’s like art on a plate!
The highlights for me:
- watermelon & rocky salad (so refreshing!)
- spring garden (healthy and yum!)
- veg garden (love the combination of flavours and textures)
- wok fried black pepper king prawn (my fav!)
- halal premium wagyu rump steak (MB-7). Love this so much!
- black sesame mousse with housemade ice cream (so good!)
- osmanthus panna cotta (stunning!)
Overall I had a lovely dining experience here.
All good and the milk tea is special because it is my favourite flavor. the service is friendly.also dim–sum is recommended for you to try. i have a good time here
After all the house moving my partner and I went in search of a place for dinner as we weren’t keen on cooking. I don’t know many people that would be! We decided to head to Adler Inn which has just opened. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner so it can be a little hard to spot unless you know its there but it fairly easy to find....
Very nice environment for friends to gathering and catching up. Food are delicious. Asian fusion is very surprising and impressive. Strongly recommended :)
every dish is unique. its a great place to have dinner, to talk with friends and enjoy the food.
they always have something new and very impressive.
Amazing food and excellent service , prawn is strong recommended . You also will not have such great dessert anywhere else in Sydney
Definitely will come again and share with friends
We really enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. The service by the wait staff was impeccable. They were very attentive and friendly. The dishes that we chose were fresh tasting and delicious. I especially loved the seafood tender rice soup bowl. The seafood and rice was cooked perfectly and the soup was perfectly seasoned. It also had a balance of textures. I would come back for this dish alone. Meals were large portion sizes and very reasonably priced. We will be returning ( ◠‿◠ )

Hidden in the suburbs of Wentworth Point (mind you I had never heard of this place), is this incredible asian fusion joint. There aren't many in Sydney, nor is there many around in that area. Tucked under some apartments and alongside other restaurants, it definitely is a place to try. Whether you're with a group of friends or anyone, it's a great place to catch up and eat great asian/western-inspired food. We were able to try an array of dishes which included their signature baos (fried chicken is a must), wok fried wagyu stirfry, spicy fried rice, green harvest (100% vegetable dish) and dessert consisted of fried ice cream and thai milk tea panna cotta. The only downside was the panna cotta was on the watery side, however each dish was delivered well and had plenty of flavours. The bao buns were soft and fluffy as they should be and mine and my partner's favourite dish was the "Green Harvest". This is a dish full of 100% vegetables, and every bite was delicious! We will be back for sure.

Alder Inn is no doubt a hidden gem that deserves a big shout out! With the head chef and owner Chris’ 5 stars hotel experience, all the dishes from starters to mains to desserts were all beautifully executed and immaculately presented! Their Asian inspired dishes are top notch but very reasonable in price! I would recommend the Seafood Tender Rice with Chicken Broth, Water Melon and Rocket Salad, Vegetarian Heaven, Wok Fried Black Pepper King Prawn and Osmanthus and White Fungus Panna Cotta.
A beautiful place in Wentworth Point, where the food is five star quality without the high price tag. This is a place where you can experience fancy Asian food in a comfortable and friendly setting. My favorite was the seafood tender rice with beautiful seafood flavours and contrasting textures from the crispy rice. The wok fried black pepper prawns were tasty while the wagyu steak was tender with good marbling. Don’t overlook the salads - the dressing on the salads was the true highlight. Overall a restaurant that I am happy to come back again and again.
