This is a relaxed unpretentious surf club. I enjoyed the 'no frills' decor with opportunity to sit outside on the deck or in the pegola area at the side - both of which overlook the sea. You can also see the ocean from inside the club so it really is a great option for any weather.
The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and accommodating and even though they have a buzzer system to collect your coffee (food is delivered to the table) - it was great to see that the staff did not expect some elderly patrons who were there to use this system.
The food was great quality - we enjoyed the fish and the burgers - and was served quickly.
Breakfast is also enjoyable - although I would have preferred another option than white sliced bread. Perhaps even a choice of grain bread would have made the perfectly cooked poached eggs even better.Summary: Excellent location and open 7 days a week. Breakfast and dinner options are great! Top service. Worth a try? Absolutely! One of my new 'go to' places for a relaxed, no fuss, low key eating experience>
Great casual dining right near the beach. Staff were pleasant and service was quick. Food was beautiful and fresh and the menu included different options instead of the same old boring menu.
Very pleasant service here and food is delivered quickly as not busy. Portion size is generous and tasty. I had Chicken Schnitzel done as a Parmigiana as given a choice of sauces with this dish. Great views to be had from the balcony seating as well and lovely on a nice day.
Found this place after moving into area recently. Have had both breakfast and lunch there and both were good. Lunchtime burger special is particularly good value. Service was polite and efficient as well.
Chicken schnitzel and salt n pepper squid was tender and cooked perfectly. Salad was more than just leaves with delicious dressing. Tender and tasteful, great setting on the balcony overlooking the beach. For a club situation, couldn't recommend more. Relaxed friendly beach atmosphere. We will be back.

The setting was picture perfect overlooking the ocean from the balcony.
The food was pleasant for a casual afternoon lunch on a Saturday.
Steak sandwich and salt n pepper squid was ordered, and also devoured.
It was simple, generous servings and pricing was good.
Service however was a bit below average at the bar, with timely waits, but I guess with the setting it was in with the fine weather we were graced with made the venue quite popular for the perfect Spring Saturday. Go do a balcony lunch in a family friendly environment followed by a stroll along the beach and you can't go wrong with this setting.
Pleasant visit. Nice food. Excellent service by the young people behind the counter. Beautiful view of West beach looking very perfect. Only suggestion something may be able to be done re the petrol fumes from a compressor as you go outside and the table near the entrance the fumes were a but overbearing.
My first visit and I was delighted with my discovery! Great varied menu, good food and coffee, licensed ... and the sight and smell of the ocean to accompany lunch! Sorry, didn't take photos but others captured pics of a large pod of dolphins making their way along the coast!
Bit windy outside! When the wind dropped off a bit though it was lovely. Owners need better control of their dogs, your German Shepherd doesn't fit under the table, dislikes being tied up but it's not right to have them roaming around unsupervised with other people! Great meals, hubby enjoyed the chilli burger (quite spicy), but was a great chilled out Sunday vibe with the live music. Very enjoyable, will return.
Perfect weather helps all...parked jumped on the scooters which was so much fun..then into surf club for a beer...food looked good...pretty simple easy going place
Awesome consistant quality food every time, ocean view, great drinks, what else do you need ? Seriously ?? Gets very busy because its awesome...just be patient for the line up sometimes, especially weekends its packed and for good reason !!
The food is delicious with a good range to choose from. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The club is pet friendly which is a bonus and our furry friend, always has a lovely time too. It is a lovely spot to sit and watch sail boats float by, dolphins cruising along and amazing sunsets. We always enjoy going to Westies.
I love Henley Beach, the walkway and the beach itself. But at this club the food is always good.
