Our favourite restaurant! We are a family of 7 and always order a lot!! The food is always delicious. Our family favourite is salt and pepper crocodile and fish with mango salad. Other dishes are also very nice! Service can be a little slow at times, as I believe they are understaffed. Most of the time we go there, the restaurant is quite empty though. So maybe that’s why they think they don’t need many staffs. Overall the waitresses have been helpful and friendly and service is satisfactory. Most importantly food is awesome so we always come back.

Went on a work dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the banquet which came with the best chicken and corn soup I’ve ever had. Satay chicken starter, sweet and sour pork and sizzling beef main with fried rice. I think there was also a prawn dish. The food was super fresh and on time. We couldn’t finish all of it. Great service and very welcoming. Can’t wait to go back again.
Went there today and had the most outstanding food we’ve ever eaten. The freshness and the quantity of each dish was amazing. The staff were very courteous also. I would have no hesitation on telling people on Social Media about this little gem👍We’re still in a Food Coma😂
So glad we found this new gem today! From outside, the restaurant looks small. In fact we never noticed it, despite we pass it million times. We were very surprised it is a very big restaurant. Very spacious and we sat out the back next to the lake. What a very nice view and i tell you...food was awesome and delicious! We ordered sizzling crocodile, roast duck, beef char kweatiau, vegetable and tofu stir fry and Vietnamese fried rice. They were all so yummy and cooked perfectly. Staffs were very friendly too! Price wise, it is average. Not over priced so we will definitely be back. We recommend Saigon Gate to anyone who loves asian food :)

Service was excellent and the owner was so nice, telling us all about the favourite dishes.

Food was amazing, great set up. Friendly staff even though our waitress made few a mistakes with our meal but she was young and inexperience. So we were understanding and we got one of our meal free for her mistake, so all gd. We would go there again.
Delicious fresh food cooked to perfection. The pork belly casserole and the sizzling crocodile were so tasty and the crispy honey chicken was the first I have had that wasn't covered in thick batter.
I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit and will be going back again next time I am in Adelaide.
