This place has become my favourite Thai restaurant in Sydney and I have to say it has the best Seafood Pad Kee Mao, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Salmon Salad and Seared Scallops in town. Yummo !!!!

My favourite Thai restaurant hands down. The atmosphere, the food and the service are top notch. You can tell alot of love and thought had been put into this place. Steph and David are amazing hosts, be sure to meet them. The pineapple fried rice is my favourite dish, literally served in half a pineapple. If you have friends who don't like Thai food, they have steaks, seafood and fish. I've been here about 15 times and still it's a great experience every time. And live music!!!

My favourite Thai restaurant in Sydney. I've been going there every second week with the family for dinner and I can still remember the first time I went there. The atmosphere is what has drawn me to this place, it's not like any other restaurant where the owners have no time for you. The food is always delicious and I've tried everything on the menu, the authentic recipies and flavours prepared by the chef are second to none. If your hungry or just need a place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere then go and see Steph and David, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
A most popular restaurant at Stocklands Wetherill Park ... evident when you walk through the restaurant promenade, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Clearly this is a result of superior staff service and excellent cuisine. The unique menu not only caters to Thai food lovers but also offers Stone Grill (for those who simply want their meat & chips).

Loved it, first time visitor .. got the rib eye steak on the stone grill with king prawns, chips and salad. Really enjoyed the cut of meat, it tasted amazing .. i will definately be back again, excellent service friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here especially the duck curry and papaya salad. Loved that the pineapple fried rice actually comes in a pineapple! Great novelty but also tasted fabulous! Delish food and great service from everyone we dealt with. Would definitely come back and highly recommended!!!

Visited Thai Rock a few months back, and had an amazing authentic experience. I ordered the Pad Thai noodles, and the peanut chicken skewers - and they were delightful. Nice atmosphere at night time. My date & I had a great time.
My experience was treated like a gold star which is what it should be like in any restaurant. The staff is gracious and very polite, and the food is excellent. Keep up the great work, I’ll be visiting again soon!

My family and I visit Thai Rock on a regular, and can say without doubt have always been served and presented with delicious dishes. The staff are welcoming and quick to help when asked for assistance. Not to mention my Thai cravings are always satisfied with every visit.
A pleasure going here. The pad kee mao and massaman beef are great. The live music is good to see. Also having european beer on tap is good to see. Will be going back

Been to Thai Rock many many times, with my wife, other couples and family groups of upto 14.
Took a group of 26 their for a christmas party.
And I must say, they never fail to deliver.
As someone who works 2-3 times a year in various parts of Thailand I must say its one of my favourite places to eat out in Sydney. Value for money, food comes out quick and the owners are great hosts, always out talking to patrons and making sure everyone is happy. And a few nights a week there is Albert, playing guitar to great to classics and different theme nights.
The old saying of "you get what you pay for' doesnst apply here, as in my experience we always get far more then we have paid for Is it 5 star fine romantic dining, NO, but thats not what Im paying for either. For a restuarant inside a shopping mall, it far exceeds my expectation, and as I said, we keep going back, and its a good 30 minutes drive from where I live. Plenty of restaurants between my house and Thai Rock, that Ive tried and would never go back to.

Had a great meal at Thai rock. The Thai beef salad was the bom. The rib eye on the hit rock was an unforgettable experience. The evening was great, I will be going back for the food and the music
I absolutely love this place. You are not going to find a more authentic Thai Restaurant. The soft shell crab is to die for and just one of the reasons I keep going back over and over again. In speaking with both David and Steph I know their recipes are unique and family owned, passed down from generation to generation, this is what sets them apart. You will not be disappointed, make sure you wear your stretchy pants!!

Made the trip from the Northern Beaches due to the recommendation from a friend who had recently visited & was not disappointed. The food was amazing made even better by the charismatic staff. If only our local Thai restaurants were this authentic & fun.
We had the Lao Papaya salad, Pad Thai & Venison Hot Rock with mushroom sauce with the seared scallops & Satay chicken skewers entree.

My wife and I go to Thai Rock regularly and hold most of our birthdays and special events there. The food is fantastic, the customer service is always great (even during the busy times) and Steph & David are fun and gracious hosts. What's even better is that it offers both Thai cuisine and hot rock options where you can cook your food just the way you like it. Can't recommend Thai Rock enough!!!

The curry puffs, Thai beef salad, pad Thai, tomyum soup with noodles and panag curry is fantastic. Another must try is combination of lychee & watermelon shakes are ahhhhhmazing!
The only down side about this place is the service, if you're sitting on the traditional Thai seating you have to really either shout or wave your hands in the air like a crazy person to get attention.
But all in all the food is great so I guess is makes up for the service

Ordered "Roast Duck Curry", "Grilled Ox Tongue" and "Rice Ball Salad". The portions were bigger than the other Thai restaurants I've been too (esp. the ox tongue) which was good. Overall, really liked the food.
In terms of the customer service, I did feel the staff were quite pushy for us to order quickly. We only had the menu for a few minutes too.
Overall, I do recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and you're up for Thai.
One of my favorite local restaurants! I have been here many times and it never disappoints! The best Thai food I've probably ever had, and I love the combination of the stone grill for those times where you're feeling indecisive when choosing where to eat, a real crowd pleaser! The owners are so lovely and friendly, and always do their best to ensure a wonderful dining experience. Anyone who dines here must sit on the cushions at least once, it's a fun and comfy way to enjoy dinner and the whole cultural experience. Excellent food, great vibes and lovely people, the best restaurant in the area!
I think the concept of sitting on cushions on the floor when eating meals here is fun and a conversation starter, great for dates or eating with friends and family. I find it a little odd that they have a western menu as well as a Thai menu. But I ordered ox tongue, papaya salad and pad Thai. It's all pretty standard, but the atmosphere and the fun seating makes this restaurant stand out to me

First order was the soft shell crab. $15.50
portion was generous and one of the best I've had! Most other places will only give u a small amount and charge around $18 , but here it's cheaper and better.
Pad seew was delicious and nothing I can fault
Salt and pepper squid. Again the portions were huge, the squid soft and the batter crunchy. My only criticism of this dish was the salt and pepper spices was not dusted evenly. So u had some pieces that were salty and some that were plain.

Exciting and Delightful. My friend's suggestion had clearly pleased me. She suggested that I go to this restaurant because the food is nice and the staff are cheerful. I visited this restaurant with my family for dinner and I've got to say; it is the best yet. We were invited in by this female staff who greeted us with a smile and welcoming look, the staff was great because they all smiled and gave you time to order. So, first off, service is highly grand. There is so many options you can choose from in the menu, there are western and eastern starters which allows the people unfamiliar with thai food to slowly develop their taste buds. We ordered fried chicken wings, potato filled skin, grilled pork, lao sausage and sticky rice; and I've got to say, each dish surprised me with its presentation and taste. It is simply superb, even the desserts. I recommend you to go to this restaurant because the service is phenomenal, the food appeals the eyes and stomach and the price is reasonable. I would try the popular stone grill the next time I come, but I rate this as a qualified restaurant.
Outstanding in regard. The food is nothing short of superb. You can't beat their meats on the hot stone, simply because of the quality produce they serve. Their Thai menu is impressively large and ideal for sharing, as you won't want to stop at one. Flavoursome, as their dishes are, the pleasure doesn't stop there, they have a drinks menu that suits every taste palette and the warm & knowledgeable hosts are only too happy to guide you in your selection. The seemingly endless choice of cocktails are an adventure in themselves! Added to all this, the live music on Friday nights, it's the perfect place for entertaining family & friends. The décor is fresh fun & the elevated lounge area is a lot of fun those wishing to experience a true Thai experience.
Definitely a must try, as your first visit won't be your last!

Food was amazing! Been to plenty of Thai and Laos places, but none beats this place. Good customer service too, she checked up on us to see if we were good and asked us about our experience with the food. Lovely atmosphere
Food is always good here. Today on a mother’s day, very busy, 12noon peak hour, we came without a booking and the manager still managed to get us seats, entertained us without hesitation. Very happy with the service.
My family and I went for lunch. The food was amazing and the service is great especially the little girl with green hair was extremely nice every time we visit. Don’t understand all the bad reviews since this is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to.
