If you looked up the definition for perfection you would see Social Dining. I was absolutely floored by how classy the food and overall atmosphere of this restaurant was and have no hesitations in recommending this place for your next fine dining experience. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed.

I was lucky enough to try six menu items on my visit to Social Dining and each and every dish was flawless. Dishes included Garlic and Chilli Prawns ($21), Beef Carpaccio ($20), Pappardelle ($23), Pork Belly ($30), Crème brûlée ($16) and Nutella Logs ($16).

For starters, you can't go wrong with the beef carpaccio. Thinly sliced with quail eggs, porcini and truffle mousse and a balsamic glaze, the beef was melt-in-your-mouth. A great start to any three course meal. The garlic and chilli prawns were also an excellent introduction to the rest of the meal, with just the perfect amount of spice and garlic. Prawns were cooked to perfection and I loved the addition of the toasted bread to dip into that beautiful rich sauce. Personally, I thought the sauce could be a little thicker but could not fault the flavour at all.

Mains were pappardelle pasta and pork belly. The pasta left me feeling happy and warm with a gorgeous beef and pork cheek ragout. Make sure to eat it while it's hot because the pasta does begin to stick together if left too long. Also, it was great to see that the pasta was homemade. It definitely shows how talented the chefs are and how much they respect the food they make. The pork belly was my favourite dish of the day. Biting into the crispy skin pork belly, my ears were greeted with the most delicious and audible crunch! The poached pear added sweetness whilst the pumpkin puree added creaminess to the dish which really helped to balance out the savouriness of the pork. The crispy kale was an interesting element, I liked how it melted on the tongue.

Once again, Social Dining did not disappoint on the classic crème brûlée. After breaking through the sugar crust, I was impressed with how smooth and smokey the crème brûlée below was. Honestly one of the best, if not the best, crème brûlée I've ever had in my life. Also, plating was super cute with the dessert being served in a small pot. Last but not least, the Nutella logs, though not the most attractive dessert, was definitely a pleasant surprise. Quirky and playful, the Nutella logs would most closely resemble churros dipped in Nutella. This would be the perfect dessert to share amongst family and friends.

Overall, I am honestly blown away by the quality of the food and the customer service at Social Dining. It's a crazy thing to say but this restaurant undoubtedly takes first place in my list of favourite cafés and restaurants. I know right, such a bold (but true) statement! It is safe to say that I had a great time and will definitely return in the future.

My thanks to Milk and Butter Media and Social Dining for the invite and delivering outstanding meals.

This venue is a hidden gem that is definitely underrated.
As soon as I walked in, ‘wow’ was the word!
Very spacious dining area with elegant and posh decor. They also have private dining area for special occasions.
We came here for Saturday lunch and enjoyed two main meals and one dessert.
We started with coffee and it was pretty good.
As for the food, every dish we had was wonderful. The Lobster Ravioli was shaped uniquely and I love the bold flavours of prawns in this sophisticated dish.
Next was the Sous-vide Duck Breast deglazed with orange sauce. Awesome flavours even though I would love for the duck to be more tender.
My favourite dish of all was the Vodka Pannacotta. Amazing! Beautiful inside and out, it’s definitely one of the best pannacottas I’ve ever tasted.
Overall we had an enjoyable dining experience here and you might want to consider this hidden gem for your special occasion.

Tucked away in the heart of Western suburbs, Social dining did not disappoint. Was a bit hard to find, but well worth the find.

Social dining had a comfortable dimly lit ambience and great customer service! Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of options to choose from, we settled with the Pollo pizza and the fettuccine boscaiola.

The pizza was fantastic, the crust was soft and fluffy with a thin base. The tomato base alongside with the sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, ricotta and chicken (a bit over cooked) worked perfectly together. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of pasta dishes. But this fettuccine was amazing! The creamy base was well balanced with the right amount of bacon, mushrooms (a good amount of mushrooms too, I have to admit 😍), shallots and pasta. You have the option of topping it off with more cheese! The fettuccine cooked just right, not over or under cooked. Would be keen to come back and try different dishes.

A hidden gem in the suburb of Wetherill Park. Given its location, it’s not an easy place to find.

The place has nice modern look and great ambience. The staff are friendly and attentive. I can see they put a lot of effort into the customer service.

Comprehensive list in the menu along with huge pasta, pizza choices and drinks menu.

Food was also outstanding. The Antipasto we had had great variety of cured meat and cheeses. It was quite big a serving size that say it’s for 2, but really could share between 4 people.

By the time we had our main, we were quite full. The twice cook pork belly was a little to the dry side and I was hoping for a crunch with the skin. The skin didn’t crackle but it was soft and not leathery or hard at all. The pumpkin purée and poach pear, Cavolo Nero and red wine jus just went so well with the whole dish. It was delish.

My wife had the chicken involtini, which I got to try. Succulent chicken wrapped in pancetta with a butter sauce. Great flavours. Only issue was we were quite full after the antipasto, the butter sauce make it felt a little heavy. Not the restaurant’s fault but more due to our ordering choices.

Nice mocktails too.

In the end we were so full, we couldn’t even get the chance to try the desserts.

Will definitely return again and order lighter meals to start in order to get a chance to try their desserts.

Thanks for the great dining experience.
