James makes the best butter chicken you'll ever have! It's different to normal butter chickens but you will not regret eating it! Also their naan bread is delicious! 10/10 my favourite curry shop.
Been coming here forever and it is honestly the best Indian going around. The peanut chicken is so unique and that yellow rice gets me every time.

This place does not disappoint. I have been here since the 80s as a kid and still drop by for take aways. The food is always consistent and incredibly tasty. My fav is the spinach lamb. Takes me back to my childhood days. The owner is very friendly and still remembers me after all these years.
Enjoyed a very quick (and significant) Curry order with all the trimmings. Kormas, Butter Chicken, Prawn and Veggie Dishes - total 6 with rice and trimmings for less than $100. Been on Penshurst for over 25 years!! Thanks Peter
Order was ready within minutes of ordering, drove in and was greeted with a friendly smile! Yellow rice was lovely and fluffy, papadams were crispy and complemented the roganjosh. Shame that they gave us meat samosas instead of the vegetarian ones that we ordered, but was good nonetheless. Apparently the chilli madras is a must try, and it'll "make you sweat and dance!" . Will revisit
I've been coming here for over 10 years and it's probably one of the most authentic and generous portioned curry places in the area.
Best dish is the Mandras beef but beware it's super hot so mint yogurt and papadums a great side.

The BEST butter chicken in Sydney! Absolutely, without doubt. I have been going to Indian Gourmet (Curry Express) for years. Easily the best Indian food takeout in Sydney. All their dishes are excellent. But the standout is the butter chicken. Every time a group of friends want to "try some of the other dishes", they all just end up fighting over the butter chicken - they never learn. But try everything at least once. You can always have more butter chicken next time ;)

Simply the best Indian Food we have tasted. I cant remember better tasting cuisine at Indian restaurants we have gone to. Have now devoured over 20 meals including take away frozen meals that we find just as good. Looking forward to another 20. Well done Pete
The best Indian Take-AWay in Sydney. I have been eating this since I first discovered them in 1985. The food is made with love and is delicious and nutritious. Restaurant quality at take away prices!!!!
The curries are amazing and chicken tikka is pretty authentic. The Asian chef at the counter is very polite and provided a great customer . He was very knowledgeable and humble and all in all it was a great experience.
We are definitely coming back again!
Benn my favourite curry spot for over 20 years, however I have no idea why they took the pork ribs off the menu it was the best thing on there! The chicken tikka is the best 👌
