Amazing degustation set menu, mixed tapas style plates. Booked online for a 1.5 hour settings but the wait staff allowed us a leisurely 3 hour long lunch with the option of taking the cheese board course home. Everything was spot on food wise and although I didn't feel there was as strong of a wine match with each course it didn't matter as it was still delicious.
They have a 90% gluten free menu by default and offer swaps as well as a vegan version of the menu. Very impressed and lovely atmosphere and setting inside and outside.
We did the 5 course degustation with wine pairing and it was absolutely spectacular!
The food was incredible, the wine was divine, and the service was impeccable.
Our host was Sophie and she was wonderful, her knowledge and fun personally enhanced the experience immensely! She is an absolute asset and I sincerely hope everyone's experience is as enjoyable as ours was!
Beautiful views here. We booked a degustation lunch and drooped by for tasting prior to lunch. Michelle was our server and she was amazing, really helpful with our questions and everything. The tasting was enjoyable.
Lunch was mostly delicious, the degustation was too much for us to handle so we decided to take our 5th course of chocolate and cheese home. Highly recommend all the food (except the beef, which was pretty tough and just alright). Ala carte would have been a better option for us as portions were really generous.
Otherwise, really enjoyed hay shed hill!
The food is decent, looks good, but some were hit and miss with the flavors and value of ingredients. Service is good but a tad slow. Ambience feels more like a casual restaurant than a fine dining one as it’s quite busy. Do come with a very empty belly, it’s a lot of food!

The food was absolutely amazing and very friendly staff. Place does get booked very quickly so would recommend to book it online and I had requested for a pescaterian dietary requirement and they delivered it!!! We were so full by the end of it. It’s also in a beautiful spot! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
Wonderful lunch at Rustico. Went for the degustatuon with most of the add ons and the wine pairing. Food was fabulous and well paced. The wine pairings were generous and service from Sophie was second to none.
