Absolutely amazing ! Great service and food. Could not fault this place. I came here with a group of friends and we ordered a bit of everything from the menu. Everything was full of flavour, fresh and not greasy. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you come here.
Never realised this place existed. A great little spot tucked away from the bustle of Chapel St. Very cheap too. Highlight of the meal was definitely the roll-it-yourself spring rolls - so tasty and fresh!
Good: The restaurant is a hidden gem, offering lots of good dishes.
Not so good: it is quite pricey and crowded of people even on a weeknight
The place was a bit hidden as the door was closed and there was no even a glass window. However, it was really packed on a Wednesday night which I didn’t expect to be wait for a while. After a short wait, I was seated at the bar and I started looking at their wide range of menu. The food was delicious but quite small portion. Will come back one day
I have been wanting to try this place out but never quite got the opportunity until last night when I had dinner there with a group of friends. We ordered a number of different dishes and I can honestly say each dish was delicious with just the right amount of spice and flavours. My personal highlights were the crabmeat and pork spring rolls (which sold out before we could order a second serving!) and the prawns in tamarind (so full of flavour!). Service was friendly and prompt and our drinks arrived quickly too. I must also mention the rustic and inviting interior, themed after a restaurant in HOi An Old Town.
I highly recommend you ignore the negative reviews and check this place out for yourself, it is definitely higher quality than your standard Victoria Street Vietnamese joint with many dishes you won't find anywhere else. I for one will definitely be back!

Vietnamese cuisine unique in the way that it places strong emphasis on the balance and harmony of flavours and textures. And one of our favourite cuisines!
Standard Vietnamese fare with a large number of pork dishes on the menu. We had the beef salad (tasty but small portion size), mushroom in clay pot - delicious and the whole crispy fish. Friendly service. Soft drinks were grossly overpriced at $4.50
Updated: again I can commend the great flavours and range of dishes on offer. Service can be a little unpredictable. Original visit: Really tasty food. Fresh strong flavours and good range of interesting dishes to try. Works well well for sharing or own meal. Friendly helpful service
Finally, real Asian food has landed in Melbourne! This is what "authentic" tastes like people - fresh ingredients carefully prepared, their subtle flavours infusing the dish (instead of being drowned out by cheap, gimmicky sauces you so often find in other restaurants especially of the contemporary and fusion variety). The prices are a wee bit steep for what you get in quantity, but justified given the level of preparation involved (e.g. handmade noodles, REAL soup stock etc).
