I was meant to post this a while ago as it’s been a month now since this amazing experience. I came here for my birthday with about 10-12 friends and some of them had dietary requirements ( 2 vegans and 1 celiac/pescatarian) which was makes things a bit difficult and stressful when dining out especially because I always worry and want to make sure that my guests are happy . Let me tell you I haven’t experienced such incredible, accomodating and friendly Hospitality in my life as I have here with the amazing team specifically Jaimie who took such great care of us! Whenever we asked for something it was accommodated for with a friendly smile and attended to immediately and in the past we have had such trouble with venues that just choose to make things difficult and just don’t take requests onboard and treat you badly when you ask for things or have these special dietary requests. However this was a TOTALY different experience and I will never forget it and also I haven’t been able to stop recommending this place to so many people because I want everyone to experience this ! The amazing team and Jaimie delivered top notch service and food and I thought that the people with dietary requirements were catered for 150% above the standard, I was almost wishing I was in their chair at the time ! The food was WOOWWWW every dish was a party in my mouth and all my guests thought the same . There was so much food with the feed me menu , you definitely need to do it if you come here as it’s the best way to experience the cuisine and menu , it really takes you on an incredible taste bud journey ! Such great value ! Thank you again team and sweet Jaimie and I wish more restaurants would learn from you about great hospitality! ❤️

The crispy taco with pork, crispy fish taco, pork hock (with the creamiest coconut rice ever), jalapeno croquet and the amazing salmon sashimi (Mexican style!)
Every single dishes were beyond my expectations. Service was quick and very attentive. The pork hock dish was the best pork hock I've ever had. The sauce was sweet and perfect.
And the finale, churros taco with salted caramel ice cream... oh gosh. Amazing. I was dining with a very picky eater friend and she ate EVERYTHING. The best place. Cannot wait to go back!
Pork hock was 10/10. Absolutely amazing dish that you must get if you come here, huge serving and it comes with a delicious coconut rice. Tacos were great but portion sizes are quite small so you would need a main to share between two people.
Great food and really attentive service. Loved the corn cob and kingfish toastada, the fish tacos were also delightful. The only disappointment dish was the main - the BBQ beef rib, it was small, came out really late and lukewarm and was priced at $38 (thankfully we only paid 50% with the fork because that definitely would have not been worth it). The cocktails sadly tasted very watered down, but having said that, they kindly offered to put my cocktail on the house after they lost my order and took ages to arrive. With that said, all in all, a lovely spot for lunch or dinner :)

🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I loved this place as much as I loved the black toro in Glenny. This place is super trendy with great seating areas. I loved all the tacos that I had – including the fish tacos (MUST ORDER) and the short ribs ones. I also tried some of the ceviches which are my favourite things. It was a kingfish ceviche Tostada which had great flavours and the lime just does it for me. We opted for the feed me menu and it was actually quite affordable. Did I mention their drinks? We ordered the margarita crush (lemon flavoured) and gosh it was amazing!
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: The place is still relatively new so the restaurant doesn’t fill up completely, but still great vibes and plenty of food and drinks to choose from.

Boyfriend and I were delighted to learn that Black Toro Windsor are participating in this year’s ‘TheFork Festival’! We came here for lunch with a reservation through ‘The Fork’ and received 50% off our entire bill. We had high hopes having dined at the Glen Waverley establishment and were not disappointed! Our top 3 dishes in no particular order were the kingfish tostadas, fish tacos and peanut butter cheesecake. The kingfish tostadas are an absolute must order as they pack a punch In terms of flavour. Definitely see why they are a crowd and staff favourite. The fish tacos were also delicious and probably the best we’ve had - the batter was light and the fish incredibly soft and delicate. The PB cheesecake was sooo rich and decadent. An absolute treat of a dessert!!! Left with happy tummies and spent the rest of the afternoon op shopping along Chapel Street which was so much fun. All in all we really enjoyed Black Toro Windsor and would happily dine again!

One of the signature Mexican food venue to visit . Five star food couple with great atmosphere and hospitality.
Starter was prepared with delicacy more like work or arts. King fish taste was amazing with layer of flavoring.
Fried chicken and corn had hint of class and great sauces to compliment.
The pork hook was defiantly a must to order with amazing sauce. With coconut rice a perfect companion and balance of flavor.
Dessert was great to finish off .

We had the feed me menu and we were definitely fed! We almost couldn’t fit in dessert but we did! Every single dish we had was so tasty, from the corn to the tacos, and the frozen margaritas are only $8 every damn day! Massive call but this is my favourite Mexican restuarant in Melbourne! It was busy on a Tuesday night, that speaks volumes!
This is not the typical Mex you'd find in a fast food chain, this is really yummy and quality Mex food.
I've been here 3 times and I can't get enough of the Feed Me banquet.. it's just so good. But its worth trying other items in the menu as well, they're all amazing.
And the service is excellent.
True dining is about the cook. Their generosity, their whole heartedness, their acts of care in everything they do. This is what I found when dining here. We choose the chef's 'feed me' in the menu and we were wowwed with every dish he made. He exceeded our expectations and delighted all our senses. The presentation, aroma, textures, flavours, colours and balance. We were glad we also ordered the jalapeno margarita. Wow. The flavours were so unique and complimented the dishes. The salted rim really brings the cocktail flavours together and the jalapeno made it amazing. Come and dine here. You will feel your are dining with family and the food won't disappoint!.

The family and I ordered the Feed Me banquet upon the lovely Jamie's recommendation. I was hesitant without seeing a set menu, but she reassured us the chef would take care of us and they don't let anybody leave hungry.
They exceeded our expectations, from the generous portions to the high quality food. My mother has never been a Mexican food fan, but this experience converted her.
We were able to try nearly everything on the menu. For starters, we were presented with Chorizo croquettes, short rib tacos, grilled corn, tempura fish tacos, toro fried chicken, pulled pork tacos, and jalapenos & cheese poppers.
For mains, we had aji panca beef short rib, baby barramundi fillet with soft tortillas accompanying. Sides were BBQ broccolini and paprika chips.
It was all impeccable. I couldn't fault anything, but my absolute favourites were the Chorizo Croquettes, Tempura Fish Tacos, Toro Fried Chicken, Jalapeno Poppers, Baby Barramundi Fillet, BBQ Broccolini and Paprika Chips.
Both the waitress and chefs were warm, friendly and generous. I thoroughly enjoyed watching them cook in front of us with the open kitchen.
Absolutely beautiful spanish food! We had the "feed me" option and by the end of it all, we couldn't even finish the main. It was a lot of food and we enjoyed every dish. Both our waiter and waitress were fantastic! Such wonderful, friendly and enthusiastic service from the team. We'll be back ;)
Absolutely brilliant... Service was fast attentive and friendly. The food here was next level. Everything we ate was full of flavour and cooked to perfect. Some of the best Mexican food I've had anywhere in the world.. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

This mexican joint have a selection of tacos and sharing dishes perfect for larger groups. We ordered various dishes and most of them are tasty and packed with flavours except for the pasta looking dish. Would definitely recommend the fried chicken and the tacos.
