Review Windsor Seafoods - Windsor

Food was okay. The tartare included with the meals is beyond ridiculously tiny. Place is extremely pricey. Young male staff got my order wrong too. Not to mention they do not offer or supply cutlery or napkins. You have to grab them yourself inside.

I always make a stop when I'm passing through Windsor for some of the best battered fish in Sydney. The chips are standard fare but the fish batter is light and crispy and the fish tastes fresh and piping hot. Staff are usually polite but business-like and the prices are OK. The store inside is clean and well looked after, while the outdoor (undercover) tables can be a bit hit and miss depending on who came before you.

This place has declined badly , it’s always been pricey but it was worth it . But today the calamari was chewy the fish had no flavour and seemed the oil hadn’t been changed for a while staff even advised us not to buy a drink from there as they can’t guarantee it would taste nice it being from a dispenser . Won’t be coming back very disappointed as this shop used to provide quality seafood. All it provided was a lighter wallet

Best battered fish. Light and crispy batter. Fish is fresh and delicate. Prawns are awesome. Garlic bread is also nice. Parrot in front of entrance has been caged for so many years. Wonder if s/he has ever been let out of cage to enjoy freedom.

A little expensive and food overcooked, dark brown crispy batter on fish and calamari but chips were really good. Outdoor eating area looks a little tired, floor needs a good clean and paint or sand, and chairs need a clean up and painting. Their live Parrot in its cage is amazing.

Fish and chips were fresh. Thank you. Unfortunately that’s all I can say. Potato scallops were greasy and cooked in what looks like dirty old oil. 4 of five staff members not wearing masks!!!! Customer service was quite rude. This used to be a go to establishment - maybe not any more of staff can’t be friendly and adopt health directions by Wearing masks when serving and dealing with customers

Ridiculous prices for battered and crumbed fish, $40 for 2x lunch packs, served in a greasy cardboard box. If you want a Grilled fish, the cheapest is $23 with nothing...you need to add the Chips and/or Salad separately at a higher cost. $4 for a cup of post-mix Pepsi and No refills allowed! How scabby! Never imagined that Western Sydney people are rich! Relying exclusively on North Sydney tourists, methinks. The Parrott outside is great fun though! :)

Went here today for lunch the seafood fish and chips and calamari was lovely the tartae sauce was way to small ...the service was very poor we both were shouted at to get out of the shop and wait with our number 44 buzer we had mask on so we waited outside.. then went in to collect 1 box meal we asked where are the knife and fork serviettes and menu .. she shouted at me and said there over there .. was very rude I did mention it was the first time coming here . Need to polish up on customer service skills because word by mouth does travell... unhappy customers 😑

I was unsure after I read many of the reviews that weren't very positive. I went with my family on Saturday and ordered Seafood - prawns, crab claw, crab stick, calamari, salad and potato scallop.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, the seafood was sooooo fresh, batter very light not greasy and the salad was the best Ive seen in a shop. Mixed lettuce, tomato, onion. olives, cheese with dressing to die for. I'm planning my next trip back. Yum Yum and definately YUM. Angie

A nostalgic place as I grew up visiting Windsor and this being our lunch place. Great memories and service but I guess that’s where the positives end.

Warning- It’s very pricey! I know this is a tourist area but the prices of the seafood are too high. A seafood pack for 2 costs $58 like really? You can pop down to your local and it’ll be less than $20. Opted for a lunch pack which has chips, 3 calamari rings and a battered fish for nearly $20. Add on a single fish and it’s an additional $5 lmao! Pour yourself a small drink but it’s not refillable at $3.70 HAHAHA (yikes)!
If you are planning to have a takeaway prepare for a small portion compared to the amount you pay. Where as when they serve the food on a plate they are generous.
They are BYO table service which means they don’t clean up after you. Also if you want to sit upstairs it’s $5 per head and it’s not spectacular either lmao. Anyways, I don’t see this place going anytime soon.

$26 for a seafood pack for one, a handful of chips two small prawn cutlets, two calamari ring and one bit of fish.. fish had lots of scales, had to be taken back overpriced and average food. Won't return.

This place is a joke - stay away!!! After I had just spent $70 on food I was told that my chicken strips & chips MUST be packed on the same plate as my cold seafood because it was a rule to package all the food together!!! My question to the owner is - are u normal??? U don't deserve one single customer - u charge restaurant prices for your below average food & then u serve it up with a major attitude!!! I demanded a refund! WHAT A JOKE!! Btw I think this is the most expensive seafood shop in Sydney - $3.90 for 1 small below average prawn cutlet! Next!

Grilled fish had bones and was overpriced for what it was. Seafood dinner pack was overly salty. Was expecting fresh seafood but unfortunately calamari was frozen. Prawns were flavourless. Only redeeming factor was the crumbed fish.

A favourite of my wife's. We come up here often for our fish and chips. Whilst the appeal is there of the usage of low fat oils for frying it's the generous servings and taste that brings you back here. It's good old fashioned fish and chips with the original style shop front and paper bags. To go with the beauty of Windsor, what else is left to desire - B
