I was unsure after I read many of the reviews that weren't very positive. I went with my family on Saturday and ordered Seafood - prawns, crab claw, crab stick, calamari, salad and potato scallop.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, the seafood was sooooo fresh, batter very light not greasy and the salad was the best Ive seen in a shop. Mixed lettuce, tomato, onion. olives, cheese with dressing to die for. I'm planning my next trip back. Yum Yum and definately YUM. Angie
A favourite of my wife's. We come up here often for our fish and chips. Whilst the appeal is there of the usage of low fat oils for frying it's the generous servings and taste that brings you back here. It's good old fashioned fish and chips with the original style shop front and paper bags. To go with the beauty of Windsor, what else is left to desire - B
I always make a stop when I'm passing through Windsor for some of the best battered fish in Sydney. The chips are standard fare but the fish batter is light and crispy and the fish tastes fresh and piping hot. Staff are usually polite but business-like and the prices are OK. The store inside is clean and well looked after, while the outdoor (undercover) tables can be a bit hit and miss depending on who came before you.
Best battered fish. Light and crispy batter. Fish is fresh and delicate. Prawns are awesome. Garlic bread is also nice.
Parrot in front of entrance has been caged for so many years. Wonder if s/he has ever been let out of cage to enjoy freedom.

A little expensive and food overcooked, dark brown crispy batter on fish and calamari but chips were really good. Outdoor eating area looks a little tired, floor needs a good clean and paint or sand, and chairs need a clean up and painting. Their live Parrot in its cage is amazing.
